This place made my southern heart happy! The food was everything I expected in superb soul food. Those collard greens were chefs kiss. The service was great and personal. The owner even came over and chatted for a minute to make sure we enjoyed it and had enough to eat, which is true southern charm. We will absolutely be back. I highly recommend this place.

This bar b q joint was pretty good. Everything was steaming hot and tasty. What was good is that nothing was overpowering. The amount of bar b q sauce was just right. Not the best bar b q I’ve had but it sure was not the worse! First visit was in April hence the Easter themed flight of drinks. Pretty good. No pic of the ribs but there were tasty too. Recommend!

I must say this place gets an award for the most improved restaurant experience. My partner and I tried this place a few times a year ago and the service was very slow and the food was just OK. After a year we decided to give them another chance and wow, we were impressed! I highly recommend their brisket dinner available on Fridays and Saturdays. Juicy, flavorful, and good portion sizes. Baked beans and the potato salad were a surprise hit too! We will certainly be back again!

This was my first time at Mill City BBQ and I must say it was absolutely DEEE LISHHHH OUSSSSS¡¡¡¡¡¡ The Mac & Cheese was unbelievable while delivering a true home cooked taste¡¡¡¡¡ The chicken tenders were juicy and exploding with flavor, the two sauces were also out of this world. The ribs were unbelievable¡¡¡ Even the corn on the cobb was sweet and fresh¡¡¡ The lemonade was thevery best I’ve ever had¡¡¡¡ This place instantly became my new favorite place¡¡¡¡ That soul food definitely did this body good¡¡¡

Guys, you need to check it out! Black woman owned, family operated this hidden gem of Lowell is worth admiring! My hubby and I had amazing Friday dinner there!

As a first time experience here, it was a disappointment. Ribs were so way overcooked that the texture was leather-like and difficult to bite through. The flavor was good. It was a waste of $ for overdone hard pork meat. The fries were completely cold, limp, and completely flavorless. Service was almost non-existent. Overall, disappointing.

Went today for the 1st time . The food was excellent. Shared a 4 way combo with husband. Every thing on there was great. Loved the ribs, chicken drums and tenders best. Can’t wait to return to try something else. Keep up the good work. The waitress was sweet and personable also!.

Great service…over the top cheerful and friendly. The food was great. I had chicken legs & collard greens and a lemonade. Music was good too. Loved the atmosphere, the people, and the food. This place is a gem.
