French toast was very soggy and not cooked all the way thru. Corned beef hash had good flavor but there was very little hash, mostly home fries. Scrambled eggs had too much pepper. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

If I could give the food here 10 stars I definitely would. My wife and I ask ourselves, “What is the best burger we have ever had?” We can’t find a place to beat the taste and locally sourced ingredients found in the Brunch Burger from Milk and Honey in Harlan Iowa. Accompany that with their great variety of sides, and this is an absolutely fabulous place for breakfast or lunch. The staff are always, ALWAYS so friendly and hard working, and their new location is really neat. I am so thankful they were able to expand to this new location as this restaurant deserves to grow and I and my wife tell everyone we can about this place because it is worth the drive from Council Bluffs. My whole family loves this eating establishment, and we look forward to many more trips here over the years.

This is a great place to eat. Their new location has great ambiance. The food is outstanding. Service is excellent. A friend and I drove an hour and a half from Sac City. It was so worth the trip. Get the chicken ranch sandwich and the Brussels sprouts. So good!!

This place is amazing. We stop every time we are driving through if it is during open hours. The Brussel sprouts are INCREDIBLE!! The home fries so good and cinnamon rolls as well. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like here.

Definitely a favorite for our family! We love that everything is farm fresh from local folks, and home made. You get plenty of food with every order, and everything we have eaten there has been to die for. We moved to Harlan about 6 months ago and we have visited Milk and Honey a couple of times a month since that move. Support your local folks and enjoy some absolutely amazing food, along with an amazing and kind staff!

The staff is pleasant as you would expect in a small Iowa town. The former car dealership is lovely with exposed brick walls. The food was good but was different from expectations. Prices were right.

Reuben sandwich bread was burnt, the corned beef was in the form of a slab and located only on one side of the sandwich leaving just dressing and sauerkraut on the other. The sweet potato bites were very good and the highlight of the meal. Staff was friendly.

This is one of my families favorite places! Every single dish is created with flavor and sustainability in mind. This is exactly the kind of ma and pa restaurant you want to see doing well! Bonus the people who run this restaurant are the best people around. You won’t regret the drive if you are from Omaha too!! Support your local producers!!!
