Went here as part of a food tour at taste of Denver, intimate dining space, fantastic short ribs, the shishito peppers with Bonita flakes were interesting! Happy hour is a killer deal!

We should have known when it took 15min to even get water on the table and 20 min for the waitress to come by despite the fact that it was almost empty on a Saturday night. I worked as a waitress for 4yrs, so I know everything that can go wrong but in the end I would never go back. Bad service and subpar, over-priced food. The chicken was dry and the mashed potatoes boring and tasteless, the portions were too small for the price and it took over an hour to get our food even though the restaurant was almost empty. Our dinner ordeal at this place lasted 2hrs when there were only about 5 other tables seated in the whole place. Sure the decor is nice, but with all the great restaurants in Denver you’re better off eating somewhere else.

Very cute place, it was everything you’d expect from an upscale restaurant. It’s tucked away from Larimer nonsense in a reserved and cozy alley. It feels like a secret garden and the food tastes just as good. The hangar steak was Cooke marvelously with a subtle rub, well on the outside, pink on the inside. The salmon was more rare than most I’ve had at restaurants, but perfect for my taste. And the goat’s milk ricotta left me wanting more. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date or fashionable business dinner and the patio seating is simply magical in September.

Chef Jason Gordon is incredible! His new menu is well thought out and delicious! The restaurant is hidden on the back of Larimer square so it is quiet even though the city is bustling! Inside it is warm and cozy – exactly what you want for a romantic night out!

Everything was just okay and overpriced. The food took a long time to come out and we were the first table to arrive. My friend ordered blueberry pancakes, and it’s only 1 pancake for $11. Fried chicken was 1 piece of chicken and some mashed potatoes for $17. I ordered Eggs Benedict, which was mostly good, but the greens were salty. The Bloody Mary tasted almost entirely like horseradish and was too spicy to drink. Will not return. Service was friendly and split up our check perfectly.

Great little restaurant on Larimer that accepts reservations. Fantastic menu and service. Awesome selection of wines to compliment the menu. The bread pudding dessert was to-die-for! I would definitely go back and recommend to others seeking quality American cuisine in a hip, upscale environment.

Food was great, service was horrible. Kept telling us kitchen was backed up, but I highly doubt that. We received our main courses cold, then about 15 minutes after that, they brought us the appetizers that were ordered an HOUR ago. When we asked to speak with the manager she apparently was too busy with help the back. What they meant to say was, she was too busy sitting with a group of her friends laughing it up. The ambience was delightful, and again the food was great. But if you come, order your drink, appetizer, main course, & dessert all at the same time… hopefully it’ll come out to ya before the check does.
