This is the perfect place to grab a beer but definitely not for food. The food is overpriced and underwhelming. We paid $20 for a pizza that looked like a small personal pan pizza from the frozen pizza section in Walmart. They haven’t had their “grand opening” yet so before then they desperately need to add more people to the staff. Looks like a nice atmosphere to grab a beer at for ski season but would not come here for food. Especially when there’s more places to choose from in the area with higher quality, lower prices, and way more options to choose from.

We stopped by Mile High Tavern which I guess was previously Fraziers on our trip to Beech Mountain. Previously we never had stopped anywhere to eat on the mountain so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was clean and looked really nice but we felt it was WAY to overpriced for what it was. You order at the counter and they bring you the food to your table. No actual servers. The food is served county fair style. They were charging $20 for 6 wings, etc. We decided to only get drinks since we were already there. We spent $40 between two drinks and they were alright. Served in cheap plastic cups. For the price I’d expect nice glassware. It may just be location since there’s not much on the mountain but definitely mind blowing considering it was more expensive than some places we’ve eating on South Beach Miami and Disney in Orlando for example. I’d say venue looks nice but prices kept me from enjoying the food.

Started a little rough but ended good. Sat down at the bar with 2 people cutting lemons behind the bar 2ft from us. Neither said hello or acknowledged us. Sat there for 7 minutes. We were getting ready to leave when a very nice young lady came over to take our drink order. Her service was excellent.

Visited on a Friday night for a couple drinks and live music. Nice atmosphere and not busy. Although this visit was during off season. Our party did not try any food.

Good food and great atmosphere. We got a burger (those potatoes are so good!) and the pepperoni pizza. Everyone really liked their food. I wish the menu was a little bit bigger with a few more healthy choices but overall it was delicious.

Very friendly staff. Word to the wise: order the dessert cake (chocolate chip and milk one is delicious) first. They have pool tables in one of the dining areas. Good food.

Stoped in for dinner. We were the only ones there? Ordered a chicken sandwich and a small burger a glass of wine and a beer. Tab was $58.00.! And food was average at best. Last visit for us.
