Apparently this place has been very understaffed for a while. During our visit (almost 6pm on a Saturday) there was only one person hosting/serving and based on reviews from almost a year ago this was the case then. I felt bad for this individual because they could not keep up with everyone and even had a group end up leaving because it took too long to seat them (they were nice about it though). It took almost half an hour for us to get drinks. I was pretty disappointed in the “baked” spaghetti and my nephew got chicken strips and I was very surprised that they were just chicken cutlets sliced into pieces. I honestly would not recommend coming here based on the lack of staff and unimpressive food.

Located in Bardstown, KY this place is a nice establishment to get lunch or plan for dinner. We came midweek so it was not busy at all. Our waitress seated us and handed us menus and took our drink orders. They had different appetizers to choose from, along with calzones, pizza, and pasta dishes. My friend opted for the meatball calzone; for myself, I went for the pasta Milantoni. Food took roughly 20-25min. Waitress apologized for the wait and provided us free cheesy bread. The calzone was huge, and my friend was unable to even eat half. She states flavor was good, and side of marinara complimented well. My pasta was doused in Alfredo. Great flavor, a little buttery and i think the mushrooms were canned. Overall, nice spot, friendly service, and good ambiance.

This place was okay and overall disappointing. It works for a dinner date, but could definitely be better. The complimentary bread was dry and bland. The fettuccine Alfredo was weird and not right. Again, it was okay, but the Alfredo was just off. The mozzarella sticks were good. The cannoli was very delicious. Overall, the experience was “eh.”

Had the mushroom marsalla and it was canned mushrooms. The bread you get at the beginning you have to have a drink to even get down. The staff was horrible. They got upset when I asked for a kids cup. They were all unprofessional and I didn’t even really eat the food. If you want something with no flavor and like communion bread to eat then ita the place for you.

The mozzarella cheese sticks were not very good and they seemed under staffed, but who isn’t? It definitely was not a great experience but I’d be willing to give them another try before making my final opinion. I will say they have a very enticing menu. I didn’t enjoy my canneloni, but I’m looking forward to trying something different next time.

Ate here with family, had no silverware, had to go to hostess stand to get it myself. No napkins either, was told they ran out and manager was getting some on way in, seriously? Food was bland and not good. Definitely not authentic anything. If you think this is Italian then you have no tastebuds. Had chicken picatta, noodles were dry and cold, chicken was white with no seasoning, looked like it was nuked or boiled. Ordered Calamari, it was subpar at best, marinara wasn’t marinara, they gave us tomato paste in plastic ramekin. Husband had chicken marsala, again noodles were dry and cold, sauce had no flavor, looked like water mixed with brown food coloring. He then ordered a calzone, it was severely undercooked dough was raw. We were very disappointed and all too happy to see a McDonald’s on our way home cause we were hungry.

My eggplant Parmesan was very greasy. My husband had Italian sausage and peppers with whole wheat pasta. The sausage had a texture similar to bologna, and didn’t taste anything like any Italian sausage and the pasta was regular semolina. I could understand if the sausage was advertised as perhaps homemade , but don’t expect actual sausage. The free bread sticks were actually very dry pizza crust with a bit of Italian seasoning and pizza sauce. Rather dissatisfied, cuz we love Italian food.
