Welcome to Mike’s Italian Kitchen! Chef Michael Buckley and his wife Sarah first opened the doors on August 8, 1995 as Michael Timothy’s Urban Bistro. Very quickly they became a success due to attention to detail and working hard to fine tune every part of the guest experience; from the food and wine to the atmosphere and service. The concept change to Mike’s Italian Kitchen in 2023 brought back Italian homestyle cuisine to Main Street.

Love the new Italian menu here! I have only tried new things to me so far and loved them both. The Sea Bass and Fig and Ham pizza are both delicious, ignore the below review of the Sea Bass. Lemon and Thyme are very simple to remove from the middle and the fish tastes great. I am excited to try the more “traditional” items on the menu as well.

Mike’s stays true to the MT tradition. Delivering exceptional food quality and taste! The calamari was amazing and a generous portion. The Saltimbocca made with Veal instead of chicken, suggested by Rick our server, was incredible! We finished with the special Banana cream ice cream. Highly recommend!

Great service, ambiance, and food. The General Tso’s Brussel Sprouts and Calamari blew me away and could have had two appetizers of that for a meal. The soup special I had was equally delicious. Only reason it’s not a 5 was due to the steak coming out more medium than the rare I requested, but it was still quite flavorful. The demi-glacé and creamed spinach served with it was amazing. Highly recommend for a date night or evening dinner!

Outstanding! First visit since the change over from MT’s which was my absolute favorite. The new Michael’s … off the charts! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back. We had to wait about 40 minutes – the place was packed. The tables are a bit too close to each other. The fresh pasta was delicious. Large portions. The blueberry crisp was way too sweet for us but the pistachio gelato was great. Recommended!

Was always a fan of the old MTs, but honestly I like it it here even better. Very pleased with the new menu. The traditional Italian dishes hit the spot, and all pasta is home made and fresh, you can really tell it makes a difference. I got the veal parm, which was delicious, followed by the Maine blueberry crisp/cobbler. A fantastic dinner, with quick and efficient service, but never rushed . Plan to come back many times

We went last night for our son’s birthday. The food was phenomenal! Although MT’s was our favorite out of all the restaurants within this group, change is good! Will definitely be going back often. Wonderful management and staff as you would expect from the Buckley group. Highly recommend!! Yum!
