New hidden gem! They are still in their soft opening, short two servers but they still did their best. Food came out hot and delicious, the fried pickles are juicy and amazing definitely my favorite! Husband got the mushroom burgers with loaded fries, I got the Mikato wings sweet heat with Mac n cheese as my side. It was great! Kids got chicken fried rice and loved it! My oldest son got the chicken strip plate, they were huge, tasted great and were juicy and hot! We will definitely be back! It’s great finding places open late with food options in Destin…PLUS they give a 10% discount to locals!!

Went in here on a random Saturday date night and the atmosphere was pleasant and modern and the staff were friendly and had a lot of knowledge about their menu items. They have only been open for 4 weeks or so the bartender told me. Now the food, DELICIOUS! I love that they make all types of foods from tacos, to sushi, to burgers, wings and hibachi!! I tried the volcano roll(forgot to take a pic because I ate it so fast), wings with Brussels sprouts, and chicken and shrimp hibachi!! *food was in to go plates due to a water boil notice* Everything was a 10! Lots of flavor, well seasoned! The wings, Brussels sprouts, and volcano roll was my favorite! We will definitely come again! Thanks for your great service!

Husband and I went here on our last night in Destin, hidden gem, LATE NIGHT EATS, serves food til 1 AM, music is awesome and is the best vibe! Sushi amazing and you have to try the Asian squid salad!! It’s a party in your mouth! The pretty bartender was super nice. Cannot say enough good things about this place!!

The place seemed as yet undiscovered, Will made a chef’s special sushi roll and a poke bowl for me. The miso soup was great. Had mochi for dessert. Shekia made sure everything they did was right and we had a fabulous meal. They were very gracious and caring. I can’t wait to go back.

The food was great. Me and my family enjoyed the wings and bento boxes and tacos . The service was so slow and the Jamaican girl seemed to be more focused with the female manager at the bar. This is the fourth time my family has visited this place and always see her at the bar on the computer doing whatever. To me this is not very professional. And she is hindering her employees by allowing the server or servers to hangout with and joke around. Office work is what it is in the office. Not sitting in the public eye so they see everything you showing on the computer screen. Another thing the bartenders seemed to be very friendly and on their game with drinks. Don’t know who the big bald head guy is, but he seems to do a lot around there always working on something and always asked if we were ok. Even the cook from the kitchen would ask if the food was good. The manager seemed to busy on the computer or texting on the phone to acknowledge people. Not proper management.

First time here at Mikato’s, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish! Cassandra, our server, was awesome. She greeted us warmly, provided excellent recommendations, and ensured our needs were met throughout the evening. The food was good & beautifully presented. The restaurant’s was a definitely a vibe and attentive staff added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend Mikato for a memorable dining experience in Destin.
