I have been here a few times, more than anything for their aguas frescas. Their food has that homemade taste. Simple and tasty. I’m a big fan of their shrimp tacos and tamarindo. The staff is so sweet and friendly.

The food is good here. They serve the basic Mexican food like enchiladas, tacos, burritos etc. they have this great chipotle salsa that you can buy. Before the pandemic, they had unlimited chips and salsa bar included with your meal. ( The chipotle salsa included. YUMMY! ). However they still give you a couple of small containers of salsa and a small bag of chips. You have to buy more if you want more.

So happy to have found this Mexican restaurant in Walnut. It was my first time here and me and my family loved it. We ordered Pazole, Enchiladas, tamales, taquitos and guacamole. Not to mention the Horchatas that were delicious. We will be returning here again for sure. I have met Francisco here and he told me they have been around for over 25 years.

Got food to go and the styrofoam box was warped, thought nothing of it until I saw that the inside was pitted where the sauce was- from OBVIOUSLY being MICROWAVED IN the styrofoam box. Ideally the restaurant should have heated up the food (even in the microwave) BEFORE they put it in the styrofoam…. Eaten there inside before also but never eat food from there again. Way to scare off loyal customers.

Great food, the service needs to improve though, they need to be a little bit more friendlier with the customers, they’re a bit too cold. So now I only do to go orders.

Local Mexican restaurant with self-service salsa bar and great wet burritos. Located right on Valley, this has been a long-standing spot for me to come to whenever I want a deluxe burrito with green enchilada sauce. The burritos are big and reasonably priced. They have rice and beans inside, and you have your choice of meat (ie carne asada, machacha, carnitas, etc). There are some vegetarian options as well, since they do have chile relleno. I noticed quite a few people get the seafood, and they have fried fish plates. If you eat in, you can help yourself to the chips and salsa bar. The chipotle salsa (mild spice) has a deep, smokey flavor and is unique to most other salsas you’d usually see, while the hot tomato salsa gives a nice heat. The pico de gallo is also a good option, and is mild. They have alcohol, and they do take credit card ($7 minimum). Bathrooms are available in the hallway by the salsa bar, and there’s no free WiFi. They have a parking lot in the front and usually spots are open – if not, then it’s usually a short wait for someone to pull out.

Excellent place for lunch. I had the Mikasa Salad and added cheese. Coworker had 5 tacos (ended up being too much as they double up the tortillas). Great fresh salsas, grilled chiles and chips all free at the salsa bar. Aguas frescas with free refills! Will be back regularly on my lunch break!
