The meal was quality and delicious and the service was also excellent. But it is overpriced like everything else in the World Center Marriott. Would still return and eat there again…I think they have a convenience fee built into everything because you don’t really have to or want to leave the resort once you settle in.

Staff was very nice & quick. The chef was a lot of fun, joking and adding flare to his cooking. The lobster & filet were melt in the mouth delicious.

5 star prices but food and service are 2.5 stars. We waited 25 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. Drink orders taken promptly but took some time to materialize… And my glass of wine never appeared, I had to ask again. Soup and salad showed up, salad dressing was a watery mess, way too much grated ginger on the greens, it made the salad unpalatable. Waited a good amount of time for our tableside chef. That was somewhat interesting but the food is cooked in batches, rice / noodles first, then veggies, then meat and seafood. Plated as it is cooked so that by the time you get the whole plate, the sides are lukewarm at bestand vegetables are limp and soggy. The filet mignon was tender but lacking in flavour, definitely not an A cut of meat. Also, as it is cut while cooking, you end up with a mix of rare, medium and well done pieces regardless of your stated preference. The same seasoning is used on everything, making for a meal that lacks in contrast and interest. Of note, if you aren’t part of a large group, you end up sitting with a bunch of strangers – it would have been nice to know that ahead of time as I would have gone elsewhere. At $130 for 2 dinners and a glass of wine, the value just isn’t there in my book. It may hit the mark if you are looking for a tableside hibachi experience, but for me, that wasn’t enough to make up for the subpar food and slow service.

I had low expectations thinking that this was a tourist trap, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and drinks. I had an Old Fashioned, they say on the menu they use a Japanese whiskey blend, I don’t know what’s in it, but it had a complex flavor that left me satisfied. The spouse had a plum dessert wine, no complaints. Now for the food – between my wife and the two kids we had shrimp, salmon, lobster, filet mignon, and chicken and I couldn’t complain about any of them. The lobster in particular was excellent, tasted fresh, perfectly spiced and not overcooked. The filet mignon was also not overcooked and the flames from the hibachi gill blackened the outside, leaving the middle pink and juicy, no complaints. The salmon was a fairly typical cut, but again, the hibachi grille accentuated the taste. Would recommend to anyone who likes the hibachi experience.

My favorite restaurant in the Marriott World Center. It’s hibachi style. Our chef was funny and did a great job of cooking our food. If you are hungry I suggest getting the 3 meat speciality.

pretty nice place. Our chef was great! Cracked some jokes, showed off his talents and made our dinner in no time! It is a little expensive but the food is very good. And that ginger salad dressing is fantastic.
