8/25/23 -We are back in Siesta Key and saved Miguel’s for our last meal of the week. It was outstanding! We ate during the Early Bird and had Steak Fries which was a delicious beef tenderloin medallions with Brie and a delicious sauce. Our Early Bird consisted of an appetizer or soup, salad, garlic bread, a vegetable and pate plate, entre and dessert. Barbie, our server was excellent and so friendly. The host and other wait staff are top notch. We highly recommend you eat at Miguel’s. Can’t wait for our return.

This was our first time at Miguel’s. I opted for the fish special. It was delicious. I was surprised that everything was included, appetizer, salad, entree and dessert for one price. Pricing was very reasonable considering all costs have gone up. The atmosphere is comfortable and after you are in the restaurant you would not think of its location in a strip mall setting. Our server was attentive and we were all pleased with our meal choices. Parking was easy because there is a large parking lot out front. It’s nice because you can make a reservation which I would recommend. We will be back.

We had such a delicious meal during our final night of vacation! The service was amazing and the food & dessert were even more delicious. Prices were amazing for the quality and portions we got, pleasantly surprised! Get the dessert trio, well worth it! Will be back here on our next visit to Siesta Key. 🙂

My server Brendon was amazing. I asked his recommendations on wine and then introduced me to one of the owners that happens to be a sommelier. I was given a great recommendation on wine along with tasty options for my appetizers, dinner and dessert. The food was superb and I got a table right next to the fireplace. Will definitely go back for the filet with bernaise sauce.

We were on Siesta key for a week and went for the early bird special twice. It was so good both times. Group of 7 once and a group of 6 the second time. Our waiter Sean is a true professional. Very knowledgeable on the food and also very personable. The Filet mignon was some of the best steaks we have ever had. Escargot for the appetizer special one night was great. Salmon was very good and the kids macaroni and cheese is masterful, the best you will ever have. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I am doing a review on the food only because I did a take out for Mothers Day. Mom is 87 and does not leave the house. I wanted to surprise her with her favorite food which is French. I saw this place on google and saw the good reviews. Unfortunately it was terrible. The cafe itself was very cute inside. My meal was nothing at all like the photos in the reviews. They should be ashamed to give this to anyone whether it is take out or eating in it should be prepared the same way and look the same otherwise dont do it. Who ever prepared this take out order and food should not be cooking at all. I think maybe they had the dishwasher cook it. At least know what you are preparing and the ingredients before preparing a meal. I ordered the Coquille St Jacques I have no idea what was given to us. They were rubbery scallops served on a bed of mash potatoes and brown gravy. It had a sour taste. JUST BAD. I ordered Dover Sole Meuniere for the main course( Nothing like the photos at all for $48.00 they should be ashamed. I was told it was the whole fish and deboned. I asked for potatoes instead of rice and was given a tablespoon of greasy rice only. The small amount of over cooked green beans and carrots were inedible. I eat and cook sole on a regular occasion and I don’t think this was sole. If it was it was not fresh. I asked when I ordered the meal if they had proper take out containers or I can bring my own. He told me they have take out boxes. The food was wrapped in foil and stuck to the bottom of the foil. A $100.00 dollar take out meal and they could not get the presentation good or have correct take out containers and after a 20% tip could not help me to the car with the food.( Now I know why people do not tip on take out orders) The creme brulee was in small foil cup like they were purchased at a Costco. My food did not anything like these other reviews.The food went down the garbage disposal. What a disappointment. I hope this is not my mothers last Mothers Day.
