Service on point. Food was excellent. Puffed tacos were new to me but will definitely add as a favorite.

Convenient location; prices are reasonable. The burrito, however, was not tender; I needed a serrated knife to cut it. The chicken was okay but needed seasoning. The wait staff is courteous and pleasant but shorthanded. Lighting is poor; it’s hard to read the menu. I noticed peeling paint in a few places; the interior needs a remodeling.

I’ve been going here for years and just recently tried the burger. If you haven’t you’re missing out. Those of you who grew up near EPH, know Jerrys Drive inn. This is as close to an old school Jerrys burger I’ve ever found and the same damn fries. It’s was a nostalgic meal. So go for taco Tuesday’s and then go back for cheeseburger Thursday’s.

The food is okay. The service a little slow but there were only 2 servers there and they did great considering how packed they were. I will not be going back. I was just not impressed with the food at all

Waited 50 mins for food and gave up waiting, salsa and chips were provided but nothing special. Can’t provided a review of actual menu items because I didn’t want to stay longer. Need to have better servers or more cooks.

So disappointing. I paid $12 for a “chimichanga plate.” I got a flour tortilla stuffed with nothing but refried beans, fried, and topped with processed cheese. It was served with a light sprinkling of lettuce and rice and beans that tasted like Old El Paso off the grocer’s shelf. $10 got me 12 corn tortilla “chips?” topped with a schmear of refried beans, the same processed cheese, and a pickled jalapeño slice. The chips were not fried through before being topped. The “Mexican soup” is unlike anything I’ve ever had. I expected something similar to a charro bean soup. This tastes like leftover rice, beans, and mealy taco meat in a sharp, acrid broth. The guacamole was stringy and grey. I had to dig to find anything remotely green. Growing up, I spent my summers in Texas. I still visit my brother and mother there frequently, and I absolutely love good TexMex and authentic Mexican food. This was not even close, and I hated to do it, because it was not inexpensive, but I had to throw everything away because I found it inedible. I’ve never done that before. Never again.
