I ordered only a ground beef burrito for takeout. The burrito was substantially large and warm, with the tortilla barely restraining its contents. From the first bite to the last, this burrito was extremely satisfying and delicious . This is the burrito that I have been searching for all over Reno. Head to the summit for this wonderful culinary masterpiece. I will be back tomorrow . I can’t wait to try a Chile relleno soon. This burrito was $11.86 out the door, and it was worth every penny. It was also ready in 5 minutes after i called so its as fast or faster than taco bell and is so much better.

Service was very good. The food was very poor. The price would have been good if the quality of the food was even mediocre. I ordered the fish tacos. Two tacos had two tortillas each with a fist full of shredded cabbage that they called cold slaw. There was very little actual fish. The plate had a substantial portion of rice and a small amount of refried beans. I had opted for whole beans but said nothing when the plate with the refried beans arrived. It was obvious that they put on the plate what was cheap instead of what would make a great plate of food. I remember going to Miguels on Virginia St some 50 years ago. How they have stayed in business is a wonder. My family and friends general go to Casa Grande. The Robb location is the better of the two, but the Caughlin Ranch one is closer to home. My take is that Miguels is at the bottom of the pile for local Reno Mexican food. Unfortunately, it seem that if you want really great Mexican food you have to go to Sacramento.

We had a great early dinner there last Sunday. Friendly people, large selection of choices. My glass of Malbec was tasty! Their prices were moderate. Give them a visit with my recommendation!

I really like this place and I’ve been there for many times with my family and friends and YES it’s my favorite Mexican place in Reno. Unfortunately my last visit wasn’t good experience because the server just missed our order and charged us for really weird things. I ordered a plate with meat and shrimp and he brought me just the meat and I asked him ; hey you guys forgot the shrimp and he brought it but in the end charged me extra and I just let it go and I tried to explain and he didn’t get it. But for sure next time I’ll be aware.

I loved Miguels! My friend I went with is very susceptible to spice allergies, and our server was very sweet and patient about recommending the quesadilla to accommodate her. I love the relaxed, quiet atmosphere there. I ordered the tacos a la carte (just 2) and they were fantastic and filling!

Food is always good but lately the guacamole and salsa have been amazing- maybe new recipe’s? Service always warm & friendly. And the restaurant itself is beautiful.

Food was good, service was great, the prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was dark and quiet and moody. We had a great lunch and we’ll be back soon.
