Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood.
In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather.
Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.
Mexican counter-serve chain dishing up burritos, tacos & other classics in a modern space. Based on 695 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.3 stars. Price $

I love the potato and beef burritos at this restaurant so I look for different locations wherever I travel. This is my first time going to this particular location. I’m kind of a picky customer and I make all kinds of special request for my burrito. Usually it’s never the way I want it but I still eat it because it tastes good regardless. But I’ll tell you what whoever made my burrito went above and beyond the call of duty and it was the best burrito I’ve ever had any wherever. If I would have had the time I would have went back to tell them what a great job they did so I’m putting it here in the review. And if anybody working at that location reads this, I was that pain in the backside who wanted the cilantro onions tomatoes and cheese all in her burrito and I wanted it extra warmed up so that the cheese would melt oh yeah and I wanted the green salsa inside the burrito as well. Yes I was one of those people and I asked them to make sure it was all spread out so that it wouldn’t be cold when I bit into it. I’m not kidding not only was it delicious it was huge. I’ve never been happier with a burrito. Just a heads up though if you order the regular serving of rice it is a very tiny portion. And they put sauce on it so make sure you’re aware of that if you don’t like your rice wet.

All I have to say is wow! First time trying out Miguel’s Jr. I just went through the drive thru and ordered the pick two plate combo. I tried the hard shell shredded chicken and hard shell shredded beef with rice and beans. Everything was so delicious. The hard shell tacos are not like the taco bell hard shell. I was really impressed. Tacos have enough meat, and the rice and beans portions were good too. There’s rice under the tacos as seen in the picture. Prices are really fair. My total was under $11 dollars. The combo comes with a drink. I like that they use crushed ice. The employee was really nice. Very patient. Didn’t wait Iong for the food. I definitely recommend giving it a try. I for sure will be returning.

Been coming here since they opened. Sometimes the burritos aren’t wrapped right and come undone, but they always make it right. For “fast food” with a drivethru, it can’t be beat. I found out they slow cook all of their meets at a centralized distribution facility every day and ship it to all the local restaurants. Food is bomb and most people that work there are friendly.

I was a little disappointed they were out of beans around 8 p.m., but I get it. They made up by discounting the burrito. I got the shredded beef garbage burrito, and it was amazing. It would have been way better with beans lol But I guess it is what it is. The cashier at the drive-thru was super nice.

Very underwhelming food. This was my first time here and I was excited to see the “fiery” menu, as I enjoy spicy food. There was a little extra charge for this. The burrito I got was bland and lukewarm. I ordered the “garbage” burrito, which promised rice, beans, sour cream, pico de gallo, and guacamole. It was mostly rice and beans. I’m not sure there was ANY sour cream or guacamole. I think the first bite was a little spicy, but that was it. I’m guessing they just haphazardly squirted the “fiery” sauce and only got 2% of the burrito. My sister ordered the same, but not “fiery” and there was no difference. This would be fine if it wasn’t close to $10!! Won’t be retuning here.

My son and I went through the drive thru. But, the service was fast and friendly and the food was GREAT! I took two to three bites and couldn’t finish my food because I was full. You definitely get your money’s worth. I will definitely be back.
