Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood.
In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather.
Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.

This was my first time going to Miguel’s Jr. and I have to say that my wife and I did not enjoy the food. Outside the restaurant it said home style, but the Chile relleno did not taste like what we make at home, the taquitos were hard, the beans tasted like they came out of a can, the rice was cold and hard the enchilada tortilla tasted like it wasn’t cooked. There was no flavor to what we ate. Would not go back to any of there restaurants again.

There’s always something missing or wrong with my order, I don’t understand. why? Nun of my items are special orders. Idk maybe there’s some kind of confusion. Like when I order a chicken taco do I need to specify that I want it fried? I thought that’s just how they come. If that’s not how they come anymore could the employee taking the order ask ” would you like that fried, grilled, soft or no oil ” something? Help me, help you.

Ordered the tostada with shredded chicken and original shredded chicken burrito which are always delicious, the perfect size and temperature! Drive thru is usually pretty fast, but on occasion can be pretty slow. Employees are always friendly and helpful!

Order two garbage burritos carne asada and shredded beef, tasted great but my only complaint is that there burritos was half the size of the normal burritos that i usely buy from this location. The honors goes to the evening Chef. BTW Chil Relleno and Enchiladas was great hands down

before even leaving Miguel Jr I checked my food I called them asked them did they put extra cheese cuz it’s not marked on my food for the 5th time coming here and the guy who picks up tells me I’m wrong we always mark are food well what happened here you take my money for the extra and I don’t get any extra just extra attitude. I love this place! I used to live here and the food has always been great. Plus very reasonably priced! I just recently visited after eight years away and one of the first places I had to stop at was of course Miguel’s Jr!
