Great small town independent diner, complete with wonderful friendly waitress, ol’ men drinking their coffee, tellin’ tales at a couple of the many tables, and a counter to accommodate about six customers. I wish I took a pic of my plate, food was great .. scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and coffee all for under $9!! I will seek this place out for sure next time I find myself traveling through Kenton

We were in the Kenton area for a family reunion and stayed at a BnB in town. We did an online search for breakfast restaurants, choose this one and were VERY pleasantly surprised!! “Small town” USA!! Locally owned and managed – VERY nice change from the franchised restaurants that we normally see. Very good food, extremely reasonable prices, excellent service. Will definitely stop in again if we are ever back in Kenton!!

I left a review before taking about Tonya’s “sparkling personality and joyful personality”, but it was so unfair to everyone else, including Aly, who is equally sparkling! It’s like asking a parent to choose a favorite child. They are all incredible, and I’m incredibly fortunate that I live around the country corner and get to visit the Midway often. The food is great, and every single one of them are amazing, the price is fair, and full stop, if you are looking for better in Kenton, OH, you won’t find it, but what you will find is a little diner filled with a whole lot of love.

*Hidden Gem in Kenton, Oh. I visited here on my birthday to take on their “Monster Farmer’s Omelette Challenge”. The food was “AMAZING”, the service was “AWESOME” and the atmosphere was “PRICELESS”!!! Keep up the great work guys!

I was in town for business, and I stopped in here on a whim. The parking lot should have been my first hint that not only was this place popular, but I was gonna get a darn good meal. I ordered the Midway Mess. It was a three egg omelette, you can order as such or two eggs, and I’m not at all being facetious when I say it was the best omelette I have ever had. Whether you are transient or local, if you haven’t stopped into this restaurant, you need to! If the bar “Cheers” served breakfast, it would be this place. The staff knew the majority of the customers that walked in, and even as a stranger they made me feel right at home. Thank you staff, and owners of Midway Diner. Keep up the excellent work! I will absolutely be back.
