Best salads ever! Croutons are homemade and amazing. Their bread is so soft and tasty and I highly recommend anything on rye. So tasty! We can’t get enough of this place. Call it in to go and pick it up on our way home all the time.

Best sandwich shop in holmen or Onalaska. If your in the area give them some business it’s worth every penny. Quality ingredients fresh baked bread. Good ice cream and cookies. The soups are awesome and not very expensive. 10/10

The people were super friendly. It was the first time I had French onion soup. It was really good. My husband, who has eaten quite a bit of FOS in his lifetime, also thought it was good. My sandwich was really good. There was plenty of each of the ingredients. I will go back when I am out that way again.

Was looking to try a new restaurant and happen to come across Midway Deli on Google. And it definitely did not disappoint! The customer service was great, friendly and very knowledgeable! My wife and I each ordered a different soup and sandwich combo which was ready in just a few minutes and it really hit the spot! Might just be our new favorite sandwich shop!

What a lovely little secret! We had no idea this place existed and are so glad we stopped. The food is great – everything is made fresh – and there’s Cedar Crest ice cream cones!! The place is small but clean and friendly. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food, and the quality is what surprised us most. Our salads were fresh and crisp, the soup was AWESOME and I believe the sandwiches were served on homemade bread. This is about a half-mile from the Great River State Trail (from the old Petticoat Junction) and perfect lunch stop if you’re out biking!
