I stopped to eat lunch at noon on a Monday and I was seated right away and given a menu. My server came over and took my drink order and when she returned with my drink, she took my order.

Decent spot for quick breakfast. Server was friendly, aside from the slightly broken hollandaise on my eggs Benedict, quality food for the prices

Breaded tenderloin was excellent. Came with onion rings and fries. Had a group of 12 and service was great. Food came out in a very timely manner.

Waiter did a great job! This was an excellent find for us! We will stop here every time we come to Iowa City.

Eat at both this location and the location by Walmart, some might call it old people restaurant but this is genuine classic American cooking, from potato skins to ham and eggs to turkey melts I recommend this place as well as a huge appreciation to all staff.

We all thought that the food could have been seasoned better. Service was great. They were very attentive. Nice, small diner feel to this place.

Fantastic hometown Cafe. I had the special prime rib sandwich AND pie. Plus I took home a 1/2 dozen carrot cake cupcakes.

this place is OVER PRICED! I stopped in for lunch, I got French toast, 1 sausage patty,, & a soda ( which I never got) $17.48, I questioned why should I pay for soda I never received? they said because its on your ticket, that’s why. I’d stay away from this place. it appears they may be taking advantage of the older folks. Sad but probly true.
