My first visit and they didn’t know it was National Chili Cheese Day (third Thursday of July) and I feasted on a couple coneys. Unfortunately their chili has beans and they use pump cheese sauce under the chili. I prefer shredded cheese and no beans. Pretty decent fries, not fresh cut, reminiscent of McD’s in size. I’d definitely stop back and the 2 dog special is popular and a good value at $7.75, saves you $1.25. Friendly staff always a bonus.

Hidden gem. You won’t find this one driving around unless you look for it. A “hole in the wall” type of restaurant that specializes in Chicago hotdogs. They were definitely delicious and great to wash down with an RC Cola (a classic!)

this is such a great find, a lovely hole in the wall place with a comfortable ambiance you can’t beat. i got the hot dog combo with a chocolate malt, and everything was so cheap with large portions. hope to come back!

I’ve lived in or around Lombard my entire life and I’ve driven past this place so many times but never had the opportunity to stop in. Decided to stop in today as I was driving by and was very glad that I did. Food is fantastic, quick service, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Highly recommend. Prices are great too!

Bring those Italian Beef Eggrolls from the other location off Mannheim Road to the this location! Ugh those are so dang delicious. I grew up in Villa Park and always ate at this location til many years later I stumbled across the other location. I know the owner Frank! I also love the Green Lemon Lime soda at the other location.

As I’ve been told this place is here for ages…. It has become a sort of tradition passed trough generations to visit and have a quick bite at Mickey’s. I was there two days ago and saw that it is their 43th anniversary this year 2023 so… you can draw your own conclusions. Please try the hot dogs both chicago style or plain ketchup and cheese they come with a bunch of fríes on side that are also as good. And also, give Italian Ice a chance you won’t be dissapointed at this Iconic site.

My husband and I went there as I grew up in Villa Park. Our hot dogs were smashed and had hardly anything on them. We both had barely any fries in our wrap with the hot dog.
