This is a late review because we were there August of 2022. My Wife and I were taking a tour of Frankenmuth and came across this place. I love chicken wings and they had a special going on. We ordered some drinks and chicken wings with dipping sauces. Great family atmosphere, great wait staff and good vibes. Also live music in the parking lot. Will definitely be going back this summer once we are in the area again.

Went for lunch on a Friday, service was absolutely amazing, food came out quick! A quicker meal than eating at the Bavarian inn so recommend if you’re in a hurry and don’t care too much about the whole dining experience (this is more like a normal restaurant). Can still get the famous fried chicken!

On a Thursday evening. Service was very slow, sons food came out wrong. It took 15 mins to remake a grilled cheese basically. It wasn’t busy, watched 2 tables come in and walk out because they didn’t get waited on. Food was terrible! Pretzel was dried out, wings were over cooked and cold. The brisket grilled cheese my son had, the meat was dried out. First time we’ve ever tried this place. We definitely won’t be back.

Have been in several times. Small food menu but good food and lots of beer. Fun quick stop every time we are in Frankenmuth! Also has Bavarian Inn Chicken on the menu, but I’ve never tried it.

I like coming here when I don’t want all the grandeur of the Bavarian inn and want to be more low key. I like hanging out at the bar and having a hofbrau.

No wait at 1pm on a Saturday, service was attentive, not much atmosphere though. Good drink menu, although the Is It Cake beer tasted 0% like cake. The chicken and dumplings soup was great, the broth not too salty and the little dumplings were delightful. The Two Sausage entree came with a horrid looking wilted side salad that I couldn’t bring myself to touch (I didn’t want it anyway but there weren’t any other options on the menu), however the potato puffs (I’d call them croquettes) were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The sausages themselves were delicious, one knackwurst and one bratwurst. Both had rather tough casings but the knackwurst was especially good, smoky and savory.

Tried to have lunch with the family on a trip to Frankenmuth and was completely ignored for 15 mins before we just left while two other tables sat down and were offered drinks and to order. One of the tables being right next to us while the male server saw us still waiting and didn’t say a word, not sure if it was a race thing but sure felt like. Disrespectful.

Don’t order the mexican fries appetizers. It was gross. The bathroom was leaking water. The food is okay but I would not return.

It was an okay experience with food and service. For a town and place like Frankenmuth there is so much energy with people and crowd non stop entering and exiting. This bar and grill felt a little cold esp with service. We were sent to a table which needed cleaning and there was water and ice all over the chair. Yes it was immediately taken care of and we appreciate the service too! But when we entered the grill to take a bite the servers were standing and not completely busy. Maybe long day for them or daily exhaustion.
