This restaurant is amazing and feeds the soul. For around $3, you can get a delicous El Salvadorian pupusa fresh and with all the fixings. The shop has three parts: one that sells other savory foods including pupusas, one part that is an essentials mini-grocery store, and a third part that has cold treats like ice cream and Mangonada. Everyone there is welcoming and helpful, giving excellent bilingual service and help with the menu.

I had spotted this place before and had placed it on my list to try. I glad I finally had the chance. It has a large selection for variety of sweets, a cafe and small grocery section. I ordered a burrito with asada and some tacos with chorizo. I was impressed by the large burrito that tasted great. The tacos were great as well and I finished it off with horchata.

If you know what you want and how it works, it’s amazing. If you don’t know, then it’s a culture shock. Approach the counter when you’re ready or if you have questions. Otherwise, they’ll assume you’re browsing and let you figure things out until you approach the counter. Order snacks/desserts on the right side of the store, and order meals/food at the register to the left of the snacks/desserts. Breakfast was amazing, and it came with handmade tortillas! Snacks are delicious. Street corn (elote) is amazing. Their ice cream is amazing. Their drinks are amazing. I love the pink and white marshallow coconut cookies that they offer (packaged). I just keep trying new things there and continue being surprised.

I try to eat there at least once a week, and I never been disappointed. There chillindrina’s are the perfect summer food, since the expansion it’s the perfect 1 stop by shop, you can shop for all your needs and prices are even better on some things than your local grocery store. I highly recommend them if you’re looking to expand your culinary taste
