We ordered farro salad for lunch. Very desirable freshness and flavoring. Cheese is creamy, and the sweet potato is adequately cooked–not too mushy, not too chewy.

We really enjoy this restaurant. One minor complaint is that they have a quite pitiful beer select, and the coffee is not very hot. But small issues. The food is great!

Unfortunately, they had a limited menu when I was there, but both the service and food were excellent!

Food is consistently high quality. I recommend going on Wednesday evening to get a very good deal on burgers.

Good food and great atmosphere for a relaxing lunch with colleagues at the university. Seasonal menus rarely disappoint. Even a humble burger is fancy and delicious! If you are not in the middle of a work day, there’s also a selection of wines, beers, and cocktails. Try the specials, they are usually a good bet. Reservations are usually not necessary, so stop in if you’re on campus.

It seems that they never have enough help. They are very, very slow. This is not the place to go if you want to get in and out within an hour. I must say the food is pretty good though.

Food was good but not for the price. Could have been better for that price.

I remember this restaurant from years ago, and I’m fairly certain that it used to be its own standalone location near campus. Now located inside of the student center, it’s the fanciest cafeteria food I’ve ever eaten. This is not a compliment. First off, the server was delightful. My poor dining experience was not at all a reflection of her. The food at this place was absolutely dreadful. I was immediately suspicious when I walked in and noticed that everyone was eating salads and drinking water. Healthy, perhaps. A safe choice, most definitely. I ordered the special which were fish tacos. The tortillas were greasy, the fish used was frozen and void of any type of seasoning. News flash Michelson and Morley, a little salt and pepper goes a long way. The topping/salsa was entirely too sweet, and the whole dish tasted like the refrigerator that it came from. If there is no salt and pepper in the kitchen, I’m sure there’s no baking soda in the fridge to absorb foul odors which inevitably seep into the food. On top of all of this, the worst offense was the barely fresh microgreens on the side of the plate. The salad was topped with pickled onions, which I’m sure came from a jar, and nothing else. There was no dressing, no lemon juice or olive oil atop the salad. When the server finally came back to check on us, and I expressed my discontent with the meal, she explained that the salad on the side was for “decoration.” If it’s not meant to be eaten it doesn’t belong on the plate. I didn’t send back my meal, rather I chose to let them throw away the slop that was supposed to be my lunch. A word to the manager: the food service on this campus is probably provided by Aramark. The folks who opt to pay a bit more for their lunch shoud be awarded with a tastier experience. Do better!

Located inside Case Western Reserve University’s Tinkham Veale Student Center, Michelson and Moreley offers a limited (post-covid) lunch selection with locally sourced ingredients. I miss the much larger pre-covid menu and longer hours. As of this review, the restaurant is operating on a limited lunch menu and no pre-performance meals. The limited selection does not affect the standard and quality, which is as good as before covid.
