Great food and great people! We decided to detour on our bike ride to check it out. The chicken was flavorful, juicy, and done well. The catfish was also flavorful, crispy, and tasty. The greens were cooked with bacon—my husband said it reminded him of his mom’s greens. The macaroni and cheese was cheesy as it should be. The potato salad is dilly the way I like it (sorry to the mustardy, yellow potato salad fans). The cornbread had a really nice cake/pudding like consistency. The best part was the service. They were so friendly and even opened up their patio for us because we had our dog and bikes with us. Would definitely come here again!

Small, off the beaten path place with fantastic catfish and amazing fried chicken! Love the red beans (with sausage), divine Mac and cheese, and the collard greens are amazing! Peach cobbler is to die for and be sure to try the sweet tea! Only open on Fridays, though, but super nice lady runs it and her daughter is the very welcoming cashier and hostess! I go at least once a month to heal my inner soul child!

I had a DAY. I being a southern girl I wanted some comfort food, so I went to Michelle’s and let me tell you, 10/10. Prices? Phenomenal. Chicken? Fried to PERFECTION. Seasoned crunchy breading, juicy chicken, great portion. The mac & cheese is bomb, duh! And the candied yams are spiced nicely and butteryyyy. This mother/daughter duo is it folks. If you’re looking for soul or comfort or banging fried food or smothered pork chops go to Michelle!

Great barbecue place. It is not the best but it is good. Their pull pork sandwich was a little dry but their hot barbecue sauce is the best and made the sandwich taste amazing. Their brisket sandwich is also very good. Sides that come with these dishes are on the small end. I suggest trying their fountain vanilla cream

The catfish was delicious, it was my first time there and the young lady at the register was very helpful, her uncle answered all my questions and was also very kind. Michelle allowed me to sample a piece of the catfish before ordering which I thought was great!! I’d recommend this place to everyone open Thursday 5-9 and Fridays 12- to 8. Great little spot to have a fresh cooked meal

Excellent food for less than $20 – catfish perfect, collard greens tender but NOT over cooked with the perfect (for me) slight kick of spicy, Mac and cheese with a nice blend of Velveeta and real cheese. Super nice people and awesome sweet cornbread.

My boy Aquontis told me about this place and now I’m here once a week. The best chicken and catfish I’ve had outside of San Francisco. Love this place and the yams are absolutely fire.

Absolutely loved this place. The food is made ready to order so it always comes out hot! My partner got the fried catfish and k got the chicken wings. I don’t normally like seafood but the catfish was a absolutely my favorite thing. I’d recommend to get an extra side of cornbread. Sizable portions so you’ll definitely have some to take home with you!!!
