I love and hate this place. When I work downtown Sarasota, I got there smoke salmon sandwich. I love everything about that except the lettuce. It’s a healthy lettuce. But an iceberg lettuce would go better. So I order it with no lettuce. But now I work in Lakewood Ranch. Every time I’m downtown at seems to be after two and a very close.

Drive past this place a million times and finally stopped in and I should have done it ages ago. I order the #4 panini, hummus, and a cookie. The sandwich was D-licious l! Fresh tomatoes, bacon crispy but not burnt, and that pesto aioli made it perfect. The only reason I’m not goving 5 stars is because they FORGOT MY COOKIE!!! So bummed but I will be back.

It’s so good when they do it right, but they almost always get something wrong. I can’t seem to get the pickle with my sandwich despite asking for it on the last three orders and it being listed on the receipt. Okay, I can understand missing the pickle. Maybe they were out, but they should have mentioned it if that were the case. Unfortunately, my most recent order not only missed the pickle, but the sandwich I ordered was missing all the condiments and most of the meat as it was supposed to have multiple kinds, but no bacon and no roast beef, just had ham and not much of it. Way over priced for that. It wasn’t good like that at all. Again, if they were missing something because of shortage they should have mentioned it, but maybe they just messed up. If they were busy I would understand but they weren’t. They are friendly and I wish them well, but my orders were really simple and no special requests, so I don’t understand why they’re so messed up. I hate to say it, but I’m done with them. Too much competition downtown with great food. They mentioned losing business and I can see why. I hope they get their act together. I always root for small business.

Traveled for work and my co workers mentioned this place to me. I had a mushroom, onion and tomato panini and it was outstanding. For light and delicious. If you are in the downtown Sarasota area try this place out.
