Agawam’s hidden gem. I had believed this place to be closed. They are definitely open and doing really well. They have moved to a new location, 291 springfield st, still in Agawam. “Pasta in the pan” is here to stay. Nice little classy Italian restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Luv places like this, with real plates, glasses , utensils. Nice atmosphere, the waitress was very attentive and food is delicious. Large parking lot and the place is kept clean, inside and out. If you’re on a diet, this is not the place for you. The servings are big, and I found it hard to put the fork down because it tasted so good. All being said, I look forward to my next visit, and I know you will too.

The atmosphere was good. Its BYO. To be honest I was expecting better. The bread and the dipping was fantastic, the cheese bread was great as well. Salad tasted and look like it came from a bag. But boy was I disappointed with my chicken franchise. It lack flavor and was more like a soup. The chicken was extremely soggy. But on another note the food that my friends ordered looked amazing. You guys know I love to give reviews. Ps thanks for the almost 2 million views. Overall from a 10 I give them a 5.

Went to this restaurant tonight. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and was not a fan. When politely voicing that I would like to get a chicken parm instead the server gladly accommodated that request. But the owner? Chef? Came out and proceeded to tell me there was “nothing wrong” with the dish I received and that it’s quote on quote perfect. After saying I’m sorry I didn’t like it but I will still pay for it but I’d also like a chicken parm he accommodated the request. After getting my chicken parm that was excellent i Will say, the server checked in on us and everything was great. I made a comment that the owner? Chef? Still unclear about this, was rude. To which he came back out and scolded me for calling him rude and said in front of the server that he is a “liar” and “awful at his job” I was taken back by this as I was just trying to enjoying a meal. The chef has now come out 3 times to yell and degrade me as a customer and his also degrade his own employee. After the 3rd time I started to record this as I could not even eat my meal that cost me 85$. I gladly paid for my food and left. I will never return and the tables who also left because of this before being served also will not be back to their comments. I am extremely shocked that this had happened and it was very unprofessional. However our server was fantastic and deserves to work for a employer who values his skills. As for Michaels pasta in a pan, we will never be back. But if you are looking for some harassment while eating your food this is the go to spot.

This was our second visit to Michael’s. The food and service are fine but the seating area is awfully tight. We ended up at one of two tables right by the restroom; there’s no divider wall. During our dinner 7 people needed to use the restroom. Not pleasant. We’ll check what tables are available before getting seated the next time.

The pasta dishes were definitely the highlight of the meal. The pasta was cooked al dente and had the perfect texture, while the sauces were flavorful and well-balanced. I really appreciated that the dishes weren’t too heavy or overly saucy, which allowed the flavors of the ingredients to really shine through.

The cajin Louisiana shrimp and scallop alfredo the sauce was broken and Bland. Alfredo sauce tasted like heavy cream and teaspoon of Parmesan cheese. Had higher expectations The fresh bread and olive oil was good.
