This place was a pretty good place to eat, but outside. The inside was not that inviting and had a particular aroma that did not scream “eat here!” So we ate on the patio which was great anyway, we got to see the sun set. The food was good! We ordered the calamari and crab dip as an appetizer and for entrees we ordered the beef tips, scallops and salmon. The scallops dish was a little oily but it had great flavor! It was basically, scallops and grits with succotash. I wasn’t sure how those flavors were going to marry, but it was surprisingly very good!

The location is perfect and definitely a nice atmosphere. It was 91 outside so we decided to eat indoors, the restaurant was clean and the staff was very welcoming. We dined in on a Tuesday evening and there was no wait, we were sat immediately. Our appetizer was crab dip and it was seasoned and definitely a nice portion. I ordered the short rib which came with green beans and mashed potatoes, the meat was so tender it was falling off the bone. My husband ordered a cheeseburger with fries and my daughter also had a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. My husband is a huge ranch and blue cheese fan but only if it is homemade, the server brought out both so that he may try it and he loved both of them! The server was amazing, I forgot to get her name but you definitely need to check this place out – definitely worth it!

I’ve been here 3 times, eaten different meals, and all were really tasty. Dog-friendly patio with a good atmosphere. Highly recommend the seafood dishes – pimento cheese grits sounds like a strange accompaniment for salmon or scallops but both dishes really work.

Salmon and grits was excellent! We ate outside because our kids were with us and the inside was dark and had a mature/grungy vibe. Not really for kids. But the food was great. The river walk was next to us and you could see the battleship on the other side.

Hands down the better option we had in Wilmington. We ate as a group of 8 including kids and adults. Service was spot on and accommodating. Food came out quick and tasty. We had shrimps appetizer, wings, shrimp linguini, short ribs, pork chops and kids meals. Everyone enjoyed their food and we ended with 2 tasty desserts. Will definitely visit again when we are in town. Thanks.

Food was really good. Drink was so so. But not a fancy drink either with Malibu, pineapple juice, and cherry grenadine. Dessert really good. Service was awesome.

I decided to have a small birthday dinner at this location. The food was hot, fresh and smell terrific. The drinks were on point (meaning great) and very well needed. Christian is a great server! Christian has an outgoing personality, he was polite, he provided customer service and hospitality to our table. The female hostess was helpful and kind too.

Nice little place , kinda limited menu, good prices, but my daughter didn’t like her meal. The Alfredo was rather pasty, i ordered the crab cake sandwich , now they dont offer just crabcakes, so I just took it off the tough brioche bun and it was very good.the crab dip with pita triangles was also very good. Service was very friendly.

Really enjoyed this restaurant with the Cape Fear platter and crab dip. I wish the number of TV’s could be cut in half though. Sports bars are so 1994.

I have never written a review about a restaurant nor have i ever ate at a restaurant THIS BAD before. My bf and I went out on date night and we figured we should try this restaurant out, something new since the reviews on here were great. The inside was very dark and empty for a Saturday night @ 6pm. Our waiter was the only decent part, he was nice. But the food was god awful. I couldn’t even finish mine as it was mushy and made me nauseous. As with both of us having a work history with restaurant business we could how things were prepared here. In my opinion this is a tourist trap, the food is overpriced and utterly disgusting.
