The food was delicious. I had a steak burrito, and hubby had chicken tinga tacos. Both were yummy and filling. We met the owner, he was very nice and courteous. Prices were reasonable. We will definitely return.

Have been here before, but this time service was off. Walked in a staff were too busy on their phones to acknowledge me walking in. Anyway, the steak tacos were bland, no seasoning, no taste whatsoever, not worth the money honestly. I’d say find another Mexican joint if you’re looking for good tacos. The shrimp tacos were good, but only because of the delicious creamy sauce they use, other than that nothing special. I’d highly recommend trying out la Rosita tacos or even Original Taco in palatine, their food and service is exceptional compared to this “Mexican” restaurant.

Went for the first time and loved it! I went with a group of friends and everyone really liked their their food. The drinks were delicious. We tried a couple of the margaritas and these were so good. They were made with fresh fruit not those fake flavors you get at other bars. Also we had a great experience with the staff. Our waitress was excellent and on top of things. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner and it was nice to see him very involved in his restaurant and working with his employees. Definitely recommend. Will be back for sure!

Friendly and laid back atmosphere. Had a passion fruit margarita that was yummy (not too sweet). The sopes with pablanos were great, and my wife stated that the ranchero sauce on her burritos suizos was the best she had ever had. I also love whatever they’re doing with their black beans, much more interesting seasoning than other places! Not bad date night prices ($65 total for a drink, app, and two entrees). Definitely want to come back!

I had a nice dinning experience here. Nice employees, good food and the addition of eating outside (at least during the summer). Great place for family hangouts and nice size portions, both for kids and adults. My siblings say their quesadilla are great.

Walked in on Saturday night at 7pm. No one greeted us or helped us sit down. We then approached the bar and then we were offered a seat. We did not officially have a waiter. I had to wave the waiter down to get my order in. The chips and salsa was good but steak tacos are dry. Also no hot sauce at the tables. Mojito had too much lemon juice. Very unorganized!

The dishes here are so nicely presented but the taste is much better, friendly staff and good ambience. Tacos are just amazing. We even asked them to switch to the music they were playing when we arrived. As a Mexican born and raised in Mexico city, the music choice at this place make us feel nostalgic and it was also important for us to keep the momentum of the Friday vibes! They have a nice outside setup. Definitely a great new place we discovered! You won’t regret dining here.

Service was good. Food was terrible and the margaritas were not fresh as described on the menu. Tamales were a ball of cornmeal. Margaritas were from a spout just like all the other chain restaurants. Disappointed for sure. Definitely will not be back!
