The food was hot, well seasoned, and delicious. The customer service was 10/10; they were very attentive to us and very welcoming. The jerk sauce is really good as well. I’m a Jamaican food connoisseur; I know when it’s authentic and when it’s not, and this is the real deal. Definitely check them out. We were riding through from out of town and found them located in the international food market. I definitely wanted to take real time pictures because I noticed most of the reviewers pics were not up to par; nevertheless, I did not allow that to stop me from trying some good food. Also, make sure ya try their ginger lemonade. If I’m ever back in town, I will definitely stop here. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken dinner, Jerk Chicken dinner, and Mac and cheese. Good value as well.

Food was delicious He got the oxtails, rice and peas. I had cabbage rice and peas and mac and cheese. Also tried the corn bread yummy and the patties were okay. You must try the ginger lemonade there is NOTHING like it. Friendly service we were asked about how we enjoyed it. I appreciate a hospitable owner. We will definitely be back. Next time I’ll slow down and take pictures

Okay y’all so I’ve been here to eat 4 times in the last two weeks and each and every time has been A1! I’ve been searching and looking for a good authentic Jamaican restaurant and babyyy this is it! I have the exact same meal each and every time jerk chicken rices and peas and cabbage topped with spicy jerk sauce (beware it’s spicy spicy )so I can’t tell you how the other dishes taste because I’m addicted to this one but I’m sure they are super good! Been wanting to try the Rasta punch but I think I been going too early lol I’ve been there at 11:36 am definitely a must try. Also note if you not use to Saragas market there is a smell from all the different types of foods they sell but don’t let it take away from the restaurant itself because it’s really good!

My mom and I tried the food there and it was absolutely delicious. She’s super picky and had nothing bad to say , so definitely give this place a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I tried the curry chicken and I liked it ans she tried the jerk and loved it. The potato and macaroni salad was very good.

Love to see a local ethnic restaurant close to home I’ve purchased oxtails twice from this restaurant. I purchased oxtails peas and rice and cabbage both times. I was underwhelmed the oxtails are super super thin and overcooked probably because they are cut so thin for the 19.00 or 20.00 dollars I spent I was still hungry. (Skimpy on the meat) First time I felt like the cabbage was spicy the second time I tried again thinking maybe the first visit the oxtail were lack luster because I went close to closing time. Second time I ordered midday cabbage and rice both tasted differently than my first visit. Cabbage not has spicy and tasted good rice I was not a fan at all, oxtails still overcooked, dry and not worth the price tag. I did like the potato’s that are mixed with the oxtail

I’ve had damn near everything on the menu and it’s delicious! My 8 year old doesn’t eat meat much but never refuses any of the meat dishes here!! I always get the fruit punch and one day I asked to try their ginger lemonade. Keep in mind I don’t like ginger or lemonade… but it was legit good!! I’m African we need food that got seasoning… honey it’s giving all the seasoning! !! Try it for yourself!

Nasty cold old jerk chicken, they gave me all back pieces with hardly any meat on them and it had that old cold chicken smell. No spice or flavor and the only part of the rice that was good was where they put sauce on it. The plantains were really good. They weren’t friendly at all either.

We ordered the spicy Jamaican jerk chicken, rice & beans with potato salad. Portions were very good and potato salad was great to balance the yummy savory flavors from the jerk chicken. Only thing I’d like more is more heat and more sauce but nevertheless, still def. very yummy and satisfying. We will be coming back. Thank you.

Delicious authentic Jamaican food. I had curry goat and it was one of the best ones I had. Generous portions and I was given a sample of Rasta Pasta which was amazing. They even deliver with Uber Eats. It’s the best Caribbean restaurant in town.

I ordered the curry goat with beans and rice plus an order of plantains…I don’t usually eat slow especially on my lunch hour but every bite had to be Enjoyed..the curry was delicately seasoned and the meat was wonderfully tender..my plantains were freshly prepared..the beans and rice..perfect..17 is what I paid and if I ate like an Asian..lol..I had enough food for FOUR days..they were very generous with the super tender(not overcooked) perfectly seasoned curry goat..also it was refreshing to see employees wash their hands..the restaurant reflects the staff good hygienic practices…this restaurant is located inside the large international market on S Hamilton..I usually eat at the West African Restaurant–but today I decided to visit Jamaica ..so glad I did! Egusi stew, the curry goat is the winner today
