I wanted to love this place but I just couldn’t. The food was cold and tasted weird, I could tell that it was cooked a few days ago. Never going back to this place.

Hands down one of our worst experiences at a restaurant. The service was slow, the drinks had weird taste, and they messed up our order a few times

The description is spot on – simple Guatemalan and Latin American food, all very fresh and seemingly impossibly inexpensive. House hot sauce is delicious. Highly recommend to try!

We have always enjoyed our meals at Mi Tierra, but tonight we decided to order like half the menu for Thanksgiving, and we are so happy with our decision! First, everything was carefully packaged and placed in a box, including the soup. Normally I wouldn’t mention this, but we’ve been ordering more takeout lately because of Covid and it makes a huge difference in how the food tastes at home and if it survives the car ride. Second, the food was all excellent and so flavorful. My personal favorite is the sopa de pollo with a side of plantains, but as you can see, everyone in my family loves something different. The portions are also very generous. You will probably definitely either have leftovers or a food coma from eating everything because it tastes so good.

Holy cow, I had no idea there was such a delicious restaurant within a 5 minute walk from my front door. This was easily the best meal I’ve had all year. The flavors were amazing, and the portions were generous. It was well seasoned and the price was right. Friendly people, easy take-out, will return with friends!

Tamales are authentic. The beef stew was also great. Will definitely be coming back to try the other dishes. I wanted to try the rellenitos for dessert, but after 2 tamales couldn’t eat anything else.

What a disappointment this was. I got charged $24.00 for cold food. I ordered thw vegan plate. The beans looked disgusting and the yuca was stale. The guacamole had zero flavor. My co- worker ordered enchiladas and there was something bitter in the pickled cabbage. Horrible food. Im nor sure how they have so many 5 stars. Poor quality and poor presentation. I feel like she warmed up my vegan plate in the microwave that was left over from yesterday. Not cool.

Had never tried Guatemalan food before, the food felt good. No reservations required, you can just walk in. The food arrived quite fast and they do have decent number of veg options. The ambience is good; a nice quiet place to enjoy your dinner. There are decent amount of parking on the street and if going after 6pm shouldn’t be a problem at all.

This place should get a Michelin star for their chicken noodle soup! Everything is ALWAYS delicious, consistently excellent! I moved here from Queens, NY and they are the real deal! Eat here if you have the chance! ♡
