Went in for the first time on a busy Sunday afternoon. Surprised to get sat immediately by a very friendly employee. The tortilla chips and flight of pico/carrots/salsa was brought by a young man before we even got our water (not a complaint). I enjoyed the spicy mango margarita. A little pricey at 12 dollars, but worth every penny. The food didn’t take long at all, especially considering the amount of business. The food was very authentic and flavorful. I wanted to try one of everything. My lady and I enjoyed a Mexican candy shot for dessert that was delicious. If you’re looking for a medium priced, high value, sit down hispanic meal I highly recommend Mi Ranchita in South Sioux City, NE.

I’m typically in South Sioux a couple times a year for the past decade and eat here every time. The food is fantastic, service is extremely friendly, and after they increased the size and added a bar area, they make some amazing cocktails. I’ve tried 4 other authentic restaurants in the area (and they were all good) , but this is the only one I go to now.

Great food! I ordered chicken quesidillas this time, but recommend the red tacos. They are pretty generous with their portions and prices were decent as well. It can get really busy during lunch hour, and parking is limited.

This was my first time at MI Rancherita, I’m not sure how Gluten Free they are, but I ordered cautiously and so far have felt okay. The food was tasty and corn tortillas were excellent. I stayed away from fried items.

Mi Rancherita is one of the top places in Siouxland when you’re craving a Mexican dish! Everytime I’ve gone I’ve been happy with my order and the waitresses and cashier are always super friendly. While waiting for your order you can snack on chips and salsa which is always nice to have while waiting for the main course. They also have my favorite pineapple water in the area which is always refreshing. I went for my usual asada enchiladas while my fiance chose her favorite chimichanga. Both meals were super delicious as usual! I choose this place over the more well known La Juanitas because I feel the quality here is better. If you live in town or are driving by the area make sure to stop in and try it for yourself!

So last night we went to Mi Rancherita in South Sioux on Dakota Ave. It was a fantastic experience! We ordered birria tacos (pictured) and a birria quesadilla. We also each ordered a pupusa because why not! All of it was amazing and the staff was very nice!
