Delicious, authentic Sonoran Mexican food!! Start with the cheese tostada with green chilies, always a favorite! Good menu with lots of options, large portions. Chimichangas, burritos, enchiladas, tacos and more. Combination plates are good options to try multiple items. Great flavors and sauces. Enchilada style recommended as an add on. Come prepared for a wait, especially on a weekend or evening.

We arrived at 3 pm with my son and his family visiting for the holidays. There was a 30 wait that was 45 min no big deal there was so many people showing up we figured it was a must wait. Finally get seated and ordered we waited another hour and families that showed up 20 minutes after us had been served and completed their meals. We went and asked about our food then magically our food came out soggy and been sitting there for who knows how long. Was extremely busy but so disappointing. Then no supervisor or anyone would talk with me only the server she was nice but unacceptable. I never leave a bad review only good but so disappointed we experienced anything this bad.

I’ve been in the US only for about 3 months and I only visited this place with a friend because she recommended it. It is the best place ever, with good food and service. Will definitely visit when I go visit AZ again. You might have to wait for a bit because this place is always packed, but it is worth it.

So I wanted this place to be as good as everyone claims it is but it just wasn’t. My son said his chicken tasted awful like gross oil and unseasoned. The guacamole was plain as can be no flavor what so ever. My and my daughter’s Birria chimichanga we ordered enchilada style and it came out with no sauce. It was so dry and I specifically asked if it be red or green sauce, she said red. The horchata is way to sweet no cinnamon. Fast forward to the end of our meal waitress is no where to be seen. So I go up to the podium and was gonna ask the guy for a box. He tells another women go see what the white girl wants in Spanish not knowing I can fully understand him. That’s just plain rude.

Having to wait over an hour to be seated is completely unnecessary but that is the standard here. They could have easily expanded by now but I think the extended wait time builds them status. The parking is an absolute nightmare, very small and limited. But the truth is the food is always worth it. Except the salsa taste like tomatoe sauce and the chips are cold. The service has been pretty decent the last few visits. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large.

A bit of a wait on Saturday evening, but it was well worth it. Visiting from Phoenix and came here based on reviews and $$ $10-20 price point. Parking lot was busy.. good sign. Waited about 30 minutes, and observed many regular diners greeting the staff as they came and went. The staff even hugged some, so there’s a real caring and loving family vibe here. Despite the rush, they did a good job clearing tables and seating diners quickly. The food came quicker than I expected. My pork chili was excellent and so tender. My wife enjoyed her pork chimichanga and son ate every bit of his chicken chimichanga. Will come back here if I have the chance.

Haven’t been here in 10 years.. was hoping it was as good as I remembered… It was! This has been my favorite restaurant and couldn’t visit Tucson without going here. I ordered the Mexican nachos and two beef tacos. The nachos were phenomenal . Honestly, cant go wrong with anything you order.

Was excited to dine in here even after wait of 40 minutes but the experience there after was not pleasant. The salsa that was served with chips simply didn’t meet the best criteria. Guacamole was only avacado, nothing else. Chicken enchilada was good but chicken chimichanga was disappointing.
