My family and I stumbled across Mi Flor Latin Cafe completely by chance, and I am very glad we did. This was our first time trying Guatemalan cuisine and we were blown away. First and foremost the service was wonderful, very friendly and gave us great recommendations. The tortilla de harina was the clear winner amongst the meals, which is saying a lot because everything we got was delicious. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, cozy but vibrant, and I particularly enjoyed all the plants and flowers. The strawberry drink you can see in my photos was also very good, I would like to try the blueberry version when I visit again someday. Unfortunately I neglected to take photos of the food itself but I cannot recommend this place enough, it was amazing!

First I’d like to start off by saying the outdoor area is beautiful. Very lively especially if it’s a nice sunny day out and you want to enjoy the weather. Decor is cute. The staff greeted me at the door. Were very attentive. Recommended dishes I should try and what they personally like. The food came out in a timely manner. Very good portions for the price. I had the garnachas which are a thick tortilla, which is then fried and topped with shredded meat, crumbled queso, and pickled cabbage slaw, and it was delicious very flavorful. I also got the shrimp Montaditos I love guacamole!! With shrimp and a little bit of sauce on top that had just enough spice! The place also is BYOB! I Left very full and satisfied with the entire experience. Thank you !!!

My husband & I loved this Guatemalan cafe!! Food was delicious, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Food is made by a chef from Guatemala, and we had the chance to meet him as well! This place is also BYOB so we enjoyed our food with some wine. We ordered pupusas, garnachas, montaditos and tres leches cake for dessert. We wanted to try a little bit of everything since it was our first time, and we were so happy with how it all came out!

LISTEN – this place is ridiculously phenomenal, seriously. Living in CA, I get my fair share of amazing food, but can we talk about the pupusas?! And the ceviche? Best I’ve EVER had. The empanadas were also out of this world, and so was the pork chop I devoured. And tacos. Oh, can’t forget about Dean’s banana choco-nut bread (sorry, it was demolished before a picture could be taken). Basically everything I could order within my two (yes, two) visits within a four day span was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back and do it all over again. What a beautiful restaurant with wonderful customer service all around – thank you Mi Flor for the great memories along with the ultimate food experience!

What a great find!! Stumbled upon this restaurant on a last minute search to have a small party of 15 catered. Both owners were present and welcoming from when we first walked in and made us feel right at home. We told the owners we were looking to have a small party catered and they immediately took on the challenge even though it was last minute. We came up with a menu and the food was great!! Best Spanish food we have had in a long time. The portions were generous and everything was homemade. The owner also made us a homemade tres leches cake which was freshly made and tasted awesome. All the food was cooked to perfection. Both owners were very friendly and attentive. This is our new go to spot for lunch and dinners. We look forward to eating here very soon. Would definitely recommend eating in, ordering out or having your party catered here.

Great food, very fresh. Loved the ceviche and tostones relleno. Looking forward to trying some of their other dishes. Something different from the many mexican and cuban restaurants in the area. Give them a try you’ll be glad you did!

Was craving huevos rancheros so dragged my very picky seventy-four year old mother along. Verdict: this place is freakin’ good. Can’t wait to come back for dinner soon. Owner is such a friendly guy too.
