First time here. We went for dinner and didn’t want to eat much. We were told it’s $35 minimum per person. My hubby wasn’t hungry and just came to accompany me. Then we asked if we do take out, they agreed. But also put 20% tip in the bill. I didn’t argue as I wanted my meal but when I checked the website and the menu it says 20% tip for parties of more than 4. That’s strange- why would they apply this huge amount and not let us know and also for take out.

Amazing everything. Drinks, service, food. This place knows how to do Mexican food all with an authentic Mexican service and attention. I travel a lot, and I’m a Mexican foodie. I have never tasted food like this. Fresh, flavorful, filling. So great we’re coming back tomorrow. When you’re in Cannon Beach, skip the fish & chips and go here.

We discovered this gem in Cannon Beach and what a discovery it was! The hospitality was attentive, accommodating, and friendly. The atmosphere was charming in so many ways. But the food! The food was outstanding! I have never tasted better or fresher Mexican food! Our plates looked like pieces of art. There were four of us and each had the same reaction. When in Cannon Beach, don’t miss the opportunity to explore Mi Corazon. You’ll be glad you did!

Amazing delicious dinner. Fish tacos were full of spice, the caldo reminded of Cabo, the Chile relleno was full of cheese! Dessert is worth the splurge. Atmosphere was calm and inviting and vibrant!

Pricy Pickings, Not Worth the Hype: So, this spot is definitely on the expensive side, but the choices you get are kind of limited. The food is okay, nothing mind-blowing considering the cost. Honestly, if this joint was in a town with more options, it might struggle. And get this, they’ve got this minimum order rule per person, plus they expect a tip for groups of four or more. It’s like their management approach needs a serious revamp. You can tell customer happiness isn’t their top concern – they seem more focused on squeezing every penny out of you. Makes you wonder what other corners they’re cutting to rake in those profits, right?

Starting with the good side… Staff were friendly. The margarita was really tasty. Dinner wise, ingredients were fresh. La Pendejada was full of flavor… not a typical tamale we got else where. The corn and the pork flavor really came out. Everything else on the plate was delicious.

I’ll preface this review with two facts: I am a restaurant owner and have been so for 20+ years and that this is the first negative review I have ever left at any establishment, ever.

We’re been to this place for lunch a couple of times. The food and service on those occasions was good. It is however, overpriced. And if you look at the dinner menu you would think they were pricing this place like it was in Miami or Manhattan! Then there is the outrageous fee they charge for carry out orders at 20%! They also insists you buy a minimum amount (I believe $30) on dinner! A margarita can cost you $20 bucks!
