This restaurant gives off super warm and cozy vibes. The staff is very welcoming, the decor inside is vibrant and colorful with cheerful music serenading you throughout the meal. We went in as a group of 7 people, ordered the platter of appetizers and individual lunch plates and mofongos. The food is homely and very comforting; the plantains and the stewed rice were excellent and the portion sizes are significant so you’ll have leftovers to take back home. Not to forget – they have fresh fruit juices!

Delicious food, Great vibe!!! Of course food comes first and it did NOT disappoint! We had one of their many samplers and other traditional plates. Great service by kind and happy people. Must try! Congrats Mi Casita Boricua owners and staff. Keep it up!!!

Sat down and waitress that was attending us was more interested in socializing with the cashier, other waitress and guy about the last time they were in PR. The alcapurrias we ordered were served to us semi raw and the chicken mofongo and mofongo balls were more like mangú and had no taste. Over priced, over rated and big disappointment.

Food was amazing, great flavor. Good atmosphere. Service is a bit slower than I would have liked. If going for lunch and don’t have the time to wait make sure to get one of their lunch specials. If ordering from the menu be prepared to wait approximately 35-45 minutes. Drinks are a bit over priced though $2 for a canned soda?!

Mi Casita Boricua Restaurant a family owned business. Bought the flavors of the island of PR to our tables. My family and I truly enjoyed our exquisite meals and drinks. Piña Colada etc. And Dayanara is a wonderful hostess. We recommend it 100 %. They open from Wed-Sat.
