This place has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Those that I went with that got the non-vegetarian dishes enjoyed the food but I thought the vegetarian was the best I’ve had in the area for Mexican food. Additionally their flan was excellent! I would come back here and recommend it to those in Raleigh if they don’t mind a little bit of a drive.

A local, quiet hole-in-the-wall indeed. But the best Latin American food we have found in East Durham. While the menu is Tex-Mex like, the food is much more authentic and tasty than your normal Tex-Mex place. In a small plaza by a gas station, i.e., don’t go for the ambience. Go for the stellar food and friendly, good people.

It would be wrong to leave 2 stars because there were some things right with the meal, but I still wouldn’t eat here again nor would I recommend it to a friend. I got a takeout 2 ground beef tacos meal. I paid upfront and added in a $2 tip.
