Tried this restaurant for the first time. We ordered the Chorid A la chalaca as an appetizer, which was divine. While my son said the Lomo Peruno was very good, my Tallarin Chifa de Maricos was disappointing. While it was filled with a generous amount of octopus, calamari and shrimp which were hot the noodles and vegetables were tepid at best. There was almost no seasoning at all to this dish. They had no diet sodas. So I asked for water with lemon. I was brought a glass with lemon juice and a slice of lemon, and bottled water from Hannaford, for a charge of $2.00, which was room temperature. The total was $68.00 before the tax and top. I don’t mind spending that kind of money on a good meal, but I don’t feel I got the quality meal I should have gotten for what I spent.

My wife is from Peru, and we have spent a good amount of time there, so we can be picky about and Peruvian food. I had the leche de tigre and lomo saltado and both were excellent. If you’re on the fence and want to try something new, go!

Nice little family restaurant. Nice seating, not too loud or too crowded. Good food, especially if you like fish dishes

I had an arepa de pollo and it wasn’t like the Colombian ones that I once had, but it was still great! Cold plate and almost a chicken salad inbetween cold mash potato Patties.

We went to this restaurant for the reviews, but I we have to disagree. All the dishes are overpriced. The Arroz con Mariscos had a lot rice, but did not have a lot of flavor and the cost is $29.The lomo saltado comes with home made potatoes that were to thick, so some of them were almost uncooked in the middle. They do not have the tradicional green Peruvian sauce. They don’t offer kids menu, so children do not have options.

I love Peruvian food and their dishes are amazing. Very clean and super friendly staff. I think the prices are a little to high and they need a kids menu.
