This place was so packed when we arrived around 12 pm on a Saturday. Food was good, tortillas are home made and soft. They have a good selection of meals on the menu. My only concern was the waiting time. We waited about 45 minutes for a table then over half an hour for our food to arrive.

Stopped for breakfast after the Starship launch. The place was packed! We ordered breakfast tacos, which were enormous! We both had leftovers for breakfast the next day.

Such an amazing local restaurant at the SPI skirt. We were greeted since we opened the door and immediately our server asked for our drinks and had them almost at the instant. Our food was very scrumptious with an authentic Mexican flavor, we even asked for the spiciest salsa and we had a green one that brought me unforgettable memories from yummy tacos in Mexico streets. Prices are very affordable and a great service. I most definitely recommend this place to come with your significant other or your family.

This a great stop and it’s just off the Island on highway 100. We had great friendly service and excellent food. Just a note they serve breakfast and lunch only. However you will not leave hungry.

The food was delicious. The salsa was spicy enough to give you the sniffles. 🙂 Staff friendly and attentive. And it was extremely clean. Will definitely go back.

One of the Best Mexican breakfast. Food takes longer to be served because it’s all makes from scratch. Big portions are served. You must try the homemade flour tortillas. It is super big and delicious. The chilaquiles were little bit spicy but so delicious. When you come to South Padre Island, you must force a stop at Port Isabel to eat here. I read comments about the American breakfast served here. We didn’t order any of that so I can not provide feedback on that price. If you are looking for genuine Mexican food for a great price come here. If you want American food, you may want to look somewhere else. There is only 1 restroom for both men/ women and it’s clean also. I would definitely come back.

Eat in authentic Mexican restaurant. We had tacos de bistec 3 generously portioned tacos topped with cilantro, onion, avacado, and queso with fried onion, rice, and refried beans on the side. Very courteous staff. Great place to eat.

We came to eat around noon, it was really busy but they seated us right away which was nice. The food was horrible, I got a chicken quesadilla and the cheese inside it was Velveeta. I’ve never gone to a Mexican restaurant that used Velveeta for there entrees. I regret stopping. Service was ok. They didn’t have chips and salsa either. Don’t go here.

Great big breakfast tacos but the complimentary chips were pretty stale. The other foods were okay.
