I went for lunch on my birthday. My server, Stephanie, was amazing. In the 5 years of coming here, she was the best server I have had. She was friendly, and I got free sopapillas as well when she saw it was my birthday! She came and checked on me often to see if everything was great. The food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back soon!

Mexico Viejo is a great family friendly place for eating lunch with friends or family. Big groups are common here so no worries about having too many people! Definitely a favorite restaurant! Their chips and salsa are complimentary and are amazing!

I order a hamburger everytime here with no cheese and I make sure I tell the worker NO CHEESE. Well everytime they put cheese on it and my son is highly allergic. Well this time they said they are going to charge when they have to remake it . How is this my fault ? I was treated very badly and will never go back. I will take my buissness elsewhere. Also watch out drinking there water it has a very bad taste not sure how this place passes health inspections.

After expressing to the waitress my disdain for flour tortillas with my enchiladas and expressing how I want corn tortillas only and the waitress confirming and letting me know they will tell the cook..I got served flour tortillas with the enchiladas. I don’t know how the restaurant passes health inspection. The place is so run down. I would avoid, use to like the place but after going back this last time I told my wife we will never be back there.

I was really wanting to be able to enjoy a nice Mexican meal with my family, but alas, that was too much to hope for with this place. The inexcusable part was that this place wasn’t even that busy. My wife didn’t receive the correct order, and I received fajitas that came to the table not even sizzling. You should hear fajitas coming, but not here! Oh, and their prices have gone up from what is listed in the menu. A margaritas pitcher is $19.95 in the menu and $24.95 on your bill! The girl who cashed us out caught me looking at the menu and comparing it to my bill. She acknowledged that their prices have changed, but they don’t tell you about it up front, nor make it right when you catch them. I am taking my family elsewhere from now on and I recommend you look elsewhere for Mexican food!!

Our waiter last night appeared to be doing 4 jobs! Very pleasantly surprised. I like the steak options. I would have liked to try the cheese steak last night, only a lunch option.
