Found this place a couple of weeks ago and have been twice. The pricing is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu has a good selection of burritos and tacos and they have a good bar of condiments. The last burrito I had was full of good ingredients but was quite bland (moreso than I expected). I still plan on coming back to try other items. Maybe I got a dud. Their mexi-fries are quite unique. It is like a blend between a steak fry and a curly fry. Never seen them anywhere else. I will be back. It is a great value.

I’ve been coming here since I was about 8 years old & this is my ultimate favorite place to eat in Beaverton. My daughter and I met there today to celebrate my birthday and stuffed ourselves. My grandbaby “Izzy” loved it too !!! (See pictures) Mexicali express is dog friendly as long as you eat outside at one of the 3 tables. Also, they have a small area inside with video poker machines if you enjoy gambling.

This place is so good you guys I went there for the first time this morning and came back in at night haha. It’s very good quality for the price, and not super greasy, and the atmosphere passes the vibe check (it’s been here since the 70s and it feels retro but not cheesy retro.)

Great place. I drove past many times but decided to try it today. The fam wanted breakfast and this place opens at 7am. Breakfast burritos, chile verde and eggs with country potatoes, and giant pancakes as big as a plate…all good, reasonable prices. Can’t go wrong with a $5 breakfast burrito here. The salsa bar and self-serve agua frescas fountain drinks made it worth it to go inside. And I adore the retro 70s interior. They also have a drive-thru!

this place is awesome. just learned about it yesterday. if i could eat here everyday i would. salsa bar is so good. habanero sauce is very spicy and the bottomless onions and cilantro is a major plus. you can also buy bottled beer here, domestic or import. breakfast is served all day. i wish they had frozen margaritas, but no big deal.

Finally…after two years found some decent edible and affordable late night Mexican food. Salsa bar is good but reccomend fried peppers. In house chips would be a nice bonus. Service is friendly. Love the breakfast burro and fajitas is good for 2. Five stars when you get rid of the patrons who visit the in house gambling section bearing tatooed swastikas on their arm.

This is a great hidden treasure of a restaurant, that’s been feeding the masses since 1975. The food is scratch madeand and excellent. The service and atmosphere is great and very laid back. I recomend the lengwa tacos, or the pork chili verdi’s. If you want breakfast, the breakfast burritos are very good and the French toast that is only served on the weekends is amazing. It is made from cinnamon raisin bread that is made at one of the local Mexican bakerys. Try them out you will be glad you did. Spread the love and support the small community establishments. Be mindful,be happy and always be the best you. ☺️

I just went for a breakfast burrito. Compared to others I’ve had, it was tasty, but very small in size. I also asked for beans and they forgot to put it in the order. Willing to give it another try for non breakfast items.

This is another place I’ve been going to for years. This time on my visit to Oregon we stopped there and the food was as good as it has always been. The Nachos are outstanding!!! The person taking our order was very pleasant and let me order a tosada even tho it isnt on the menu any longer. I love the place and will go back the next time I visit.
