Honestly such an incredible place. Great food, service and taste. Me and my family every time we go to Los Angeles we stop by and eat dinner at Mex Peru Gipsy. Once again amazing food and service thank you very much for the employees kindness and amazing work.

It is so good that I came back 2 times!! Food is just delicious. Don’t expect a fancy place, but the atmosphere is just amazing. It is the only place that I know that serves Mexican, Peruvian, and Gipsy food. The first day, I tried Ceviche and arros chaufa, and it was as authentic as it can be, the second day eat a delicious pork chop en salsa de molcajete, I have never tasted something like that. On my next visit to LA, I will try the Gipsy food that I imagine is just as good since it was lots of clients for that as well.

Good tasty food but overpriced.

The food here is made with love and the staff takes pride in what they serve. I had the lomo saltado and aji de gallina, both were great but I preferred the lomo saltado more because the steak was great quality and I loved the sauce. When I come back I’m going to try the ceviche because Peruvian ceviche is the best in the world.

Simply the best Chaufa we have ever tasted! Juan the owner is focused on quality ingredients. Authentic and delicious. Humble atmosphere. If you are going to an event nearby, this is a must visit…

We got the lomo saltado, garlic fried rice, and the ceviche mixto and they were all great! The staff was friendly and checked on us various times. The food was all delicious and we’re glad we got to try a little bit of different plates.

We were looking for a place to eat and we ended up here. The food is extremely overpriced. My boyfriend and I were going to eat there, but the prices astonished us and my boyfriend had gone to the restroom prior to us changing our mind. As we changed our mind, the owner, tried charging my boyfriend 3 dollars just for using the restroom and aside from that we bought a coke because we felt bad and he charged us 4 dollars for a small canned coke.

This Hidden gem has some of the best recipes in downtown LA, might get a little pricey but remember , you get what you pay for, and this place is definitely worth it!
