Okay, I need to first point out that I’m a Philly-area transplant, so I’m a bit more critical of my cheesesteaks. That said, they have the ordering process, the prep, the ingredients… all down to a good working method. Whiz wit’? Check. Fresh-tasting Amoroso’s roll? CHECK. Result: A good cheesesteak that reminds one of South Street.

For our first experience at Mother Road Market, we chose Metropolis. The philly cheesesteak with cheese whiz was delicious and perfectly portioned. The philly cheesesteak fries had quite a bit more fries than toppings, and seemed much saltier of a dish. The north end cannoli was a nice finish to the meal! We will be back!

A Chicago Italian Beef & NY stye Frankfurter. The quality of the meat for both sandwiches are delicious. It’s not exactly a spot on Italian Beef but pretty damn close especially w the giardiniera. The NY Frankfurter was satisfying but was my first time for a non Chicago style hotdog! Polite workers behind the counter. Will definitely hit this place up again!

I love classic cheese steaks with cheesewiz so I was excited to try this place. The quality of the steak was good but the cook salted it so heavily I couldn’t eat the sandwich. It was disgusting. Threw away $20. Save your money.

Terribly overpriced. I paid 20+ $ for a cheesesteak sandwich! Yes, with drink but this is still insane. Overall the whole place is just a modern food court that has nothing to do with route 66. I’d rather eat in a classic diner on route 66. I regret that I stepped in there. It was a total rip off

They’re Phillysteak fries and subs are always delicious but since they were busy August 27th, they gave lots of old food away in addition to having us wait 30- 40 minutes. Never should customers wait long for food that’s not fresh. They’re prices are too costly for that, this is why I don’t tip until after I eat my food and revisit… smh want my tip back
