I was in town for work and wasn’t really on the move touring or looking for food far away as I needed to be local, so I basically had almost everything this place had to offer on the menu. The Barbocoa was absolutely their best dish on the menu so a quick shout out for that dish. The burger was pleasantly good as well, the chicken sandwich pictured with coleslaw and chipotle sauce was delicious as well. I had truffle fries for both sandwiches but they had regular fries and sweet potato as well for those in need of other options. The chicken empanadas were really good, so was the “Torta”. Didn’t really like the arroz con pollo but you can hit them all can you? Haha. Enjoy your meal if you are staying in the hotel itself it’s beyond convenient and open late with a wonderful looking bar.

Between the two of us one meal was good and the other not great at all. Service was intermittent and I couldn’t even get a refill. If staying at the Indigo I’d look outside the building for dinner. Drinks were good thought so the bar is alright.

Too tired to venture out to find food and ended up eating in the hotel restaurant. PHENOMENAL vegan options for such a small menu. I wish I got our waitresses name because she was one of the best servers I’ve had. She remembered my dietary needs and made sure my order came out of the kitchen correctly. A must eat while in DTLA.

Very nice environment and good food. Usually not busy, but not cheap at all. Still, I did have a good experience and could have real good instead of american food

Decent vegetarian options in a cool, modern hotel lobby. Slightly sterile feeling but quite tasty and the service was very warm.

A yum-worthy and pleasantly uncrowded brunch at this South Park eatery located off the lobby of the Hotel Indigo, this was a good find on a lazy Sunday. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, but hope to return to try the Eggs Benedict on croissant.

Wasn’t impressed. The food looked good but was overpriced and bland. Service staff kept forgetting things and didn’t seem that interested in helping. Got sat at a table that wasn’t completely set and didn’t have all cutlery. Sat at the table for ages before even offered a drink. When I got a drink I got half a glass of wine and they said they would get me a full one next for free but I got charged for it. Didn’t have everything on menu or wine list either so had to choose a few times to get something they had. Won’t be returning. Can spend less money for a better meal elsewhere

Excellent contemporary cuisine. The Metropole Bar + Kitchen is located in the lobby of the Hotel Indigo in downtown Los Angeles. The menu is available in the bar area as well as at tables, and both have a chic atmosphere. The breakfast menu had granola crusted challah French toast, served with powdered sugar, berries, and maple syrup. Lunch and dinner menus have a cheese board and a grilled cheese with fries (the grilled cheese had plenty of bits of crispy cheese that seeped onto the grill!). Service was prompt and friendly.

Came for New Years Eve 5 course meal & was pretty good. Besides the facts the waitress took almost 10 minutes to even greet us & the drinks were taking almost 20 minutes to arrive.
