Grew up in Gaithersburg and this was our go-to spot for Indian food. Now living out of state I try to get back whenever I’m in town. Generous portions and a terrific value. The Naan is top notch, along with the samosas and saags.

One of the best Indian cuisine restaurants I’ve ever tried. 5-star customer service, 5-star food taste and smell, 5-star spicy level and a 5-star over all experience. If you’re looking for an affordable mean, this is the place!

Naan bread was initially soft but bland, tasted better reheated at home with some salted butter. It tasted like it either came from a bag or was sitting out for a while, instead of being baked fresh to order like other restaurants do. Meats were over cooked to the point of being dry despite the sauces, and curry & rice quality differs day to day or time of day, ranging from ok quality to verging on sour taste from being too old. Desserts cost 8$/lb for dishes like jalebi, gulab jamun, gujar halwa, & are supposed to be handmade. Pakora was tasty for being all spiced mashed potato filling, excellent value for 70 cents apiece.

Their somosas are the best. Very nice mom and pop shop with good food at reasonable prices.

My parents and I have been getting snacks from Metro Dhaba for many years. It is a nice place to get phuchka (pani puri) and shingara (samosas). There is a 30 minute wait on some days but overall it is a cool place to grab some Indian snacks.

Best pizza I’ve ever eaten I am an American first born and I’ve bought many different types of food. I’ve traveled working for doordash, uber eats, postmates, and instacart. Best place ever. On my way as we speak.

Ordered Samosa and Gulab Jamun for pick up. Samosa was only 70 cents a piece which is a good bargain. There is a big catch, Chutney doesn’t come with it. You have to pay $1.25 for approximately 2 oz. chutney. It’s like bying Coffee for 25 cents but paying for Cream and sugar. Anyway, Samosa was just ok and Gulab Jamun wasn’t that good.

Less price indian food items are available here. Taste also not bad. They have very reasonable price for the quantity they give.

Best value you will find! I just brought home tandoori chicken, butter chicken, three types of naan, two samosas, daal, and a mango lassi for $19.30 after tax! All of it was delicious. The naan, samosas, and lassi were especially delicious. The tandoori chicken was a little more boring than some I’ve had, but wasn’t dry. Restaurant has a casual interior and is also brick oven pizzeria. Also has catering and lunch buffet.
