I came by myself for Mexican food on a Thursday night around 6pm and sat at the bar. There was no wait, but the restaurant wasn’t empty either. Seemed a good amount of busy for a Thursday night. The menu was comprehensive, I was impressed they had nopales and molcajete on the menu in addition to all the classics. Added a level of authenticity. I had the shrimp cocktail and it came with probably a dozen good sized shrimp. The shrimp were cooked well, not overdone, and the cocktail sauce was filled with fresh onions, cilantro, and jalapeños. The dish was served with ripe avocado, fresh lime, and saltine crackers, typical for this type of dish. The sauce was a little sweet for my taste, but the lime and salt helped to balance it out. The shrimp was $14, excellent price for what I received, and my cocktail (Tito’s and soda) was $9. A little expensive for the area. The service from the bartender was perfect, just the right amount of attention. I’ll be back for sure, had a great time.

On an Rv trip at a local State Park and passed this place on the way in. Great food, friendly service, and huge portions. Great place and legit margaritas! If you’re in the area, hit it up…absolutely worth it.

The food is really good but when you get the bill versus the prices in the menu, I have noticed there is always a price difference. I have totalled it from menu and it doesn’t match up!

The food was great and the service not to bad it just seemed as if they would keep forgetting about us. And it also seemed like no one was working the table they sat us at. There was 2 waitresses and one waiter. But other then that it was good

If you know Jackson, then you know it’s somewhat of a food desert. Especially on Sundays, forget about it. This is one of the places it’s open on Sunday. I usually do take out never dine in. The food’s always ready, and you get a good portion of food for the price. It’s definitely one of our go-to spots, I usually get the Don bento it’s more than a meal.

It is always good!!! We have recently became resident of Jackson and have fell in love with the food and staff here. Always welcoming. Can be very busy. But even during peak hours ,they are very well staffed and never a long wait. Highly recommend. We are making our way through the menu. Haven’t came across a dish yet we didn’t enjoy!!!! A huge bonus is the salsa is good!!!

Food was cold chips was stale, tacos was soggy. When called to inform manager Antonio he was rude and arguing saying I just wanted free food very unprofessional when I explained to him that the receipt told the time I cashe out and ordered he said I was lying I never will recommend anyone to eat here poor customer service and food is not to standard.
