We came here on a Wednesday for lunch. We were seated right away, our group of 5 people. Restaurant is very clean and well decorated. Food portions are huge! I got the appetizer of Portuguese croquettes and my main entree was the garlic shrimp. Both were tasty. We enjoyed our lunch there, thank you

A welcomed addition to the area. First, the food. No lack of garlic in use but mellow and not overpowering . We had the calamari for appetizer , after the bread and brined olives which were amazing, calamari was cooked to perfection. I had the Portuguese steak which was swimming in a broth and surrounded by fresh chips that just came out of the frier . I’m not a huge fan of dippy eggs but it works on the top of the steak and brought this platter together. My wife had the shrimp in garlic sauce which came with a long grain rice and what we would consider as beach fries, excellent . Currently they only offer beer and only from Helltown brewing. Not the worst position to be in . The Russian imperial stout and Buffy hazy IPA are good but I will leave a review on Unrappd to cover that. Our server was very attentive . Easy location to get in and out of. My only detraction of a star would be for the atmosphere and that is due to volume of the kitchen. It’s neat that the kitchen is open and you can hear and see the cooks at work, just a bit loud. Maybe a slight sound barrier is in order. Will be back

Decided to give the new restaurant a try while enjoying the First Friday experience. Three adults and 4 children. We were given 6 glasses and the waiter half filled 5 with water. No utensils or napkins were given. We had to request them after waiting ONE HOUR for our food. I don’t know why kids pasta needed that long or why we had to request bread and olives and a fork once the food arrived. But even after getting the food it tasted bland. Looked pretty but it had no seasoning whatsoever. Will not be going back.

Saturday dinner around 6pm. We had prompt service, I think the initial kinks have been ironed out. Our drinks came out fast, appetizer (soup) came out fast, entree’s followed at a reasonable pace. Stuffed flounder was tasty, filling maybe just a bit too rich and more crab dip-like but still very good. Caesar chicken wrap was a large portion, and good as well. Very reasonably priced, food was good, service was good, and the place has a very bright and open feel. We will be back for sure to try more of the menu.

Lunch after the new bookstore. Great $10. barbecue 1/2 chicken dish with piri piri sauce , rice and fries ( enough for two meals) delicious flan and robust coffee. All served by a friendly, attentive server. I’m excited to have this restaurant downtown. Love the blue umbrellas outside and strung lights for evenings.

Just had the calamari and it’s some of the best I have ever had…the waitress was wonderful I sat outside in the sunshine and it was very enjoyable …Went back the next night for dinner with family and we had wonderful delicious food and great company.We enjoyed meeting and talking with the owner Steve
