Great service, food, and atmosphere. Our waiter did an excellent job of making sure that we were always taken care of. It looked like to me that the other waitresses did the same for the other tables. We tried a mixed grill, which was a combination of Bosnian and American foods. We will definitely go back again and try their house specials.

Loved it!! We liked everything we tried. It’s different for the Cedar Valley but so good! Very clean, modern setting. The steak in the kabobs was super tender and the stuffed pepper was very good. It has more the texture of meatloaf than peppers I’ve been used to but it was still good! Very nice staff as well.

This place was absolutely wonderful. The food was so amazing and there was so much of it. We all had leftovers and were able to have it the next day and it was just as good as the first time. Our waitress was super kind and quick to help and get us whatever we needed. And the desert was just amazing I got the Medena Torta to go and when I got home and tasted it it was delicious (so delicious I forgot to take a photo). The place is a little quiet so it might help to have some music or noise because you can hear all your fellow diners conversations but otherwise a super lovely place. Clean, a nice layout between the seating. The bourbon selection was large and had a bit of everything for even the most picky drinkers.

Wow!!! I am so impressed with this place! We came for seafood Wednesday and could not have had a better experience. The food was PHENOMENAL from the start. Excellent rolls, very good salad, and the seafood, well…it was even better than it looks! Fresh, well seasoned, and delicious. Those scallops were something special! Had a piece of baklava for dessert and it was the best I have had, not too sweet and texturely perfect. Also, our waitress Sebina (i hope i got that right) was so warm, welcoming, and took excellent care of us. We most certainly will be back soon!

Wow! Absolutely wonderful. Brought my mother down from Minnesota and we went there for lunch. As we are of Croatian descent we opted for the sarma. Best we have ever had. Tomato sauce was perfect as was the meat. Will be back

I’ve never had Bosnian food before, so as we looked into food options in Waterloo, I had to give it a try. The girl at the register was really kind and brought up a menu and showed me the specials. She was patient as I was new to all of the dishes. We decided on the chicken soup, chicken kabobs and the stuffed pepper. It was a lot of food, and I kind of wish we had shared because we had so much leftover. It was all delicious though, and the prices made sense with the quantities of food.

Very good food! I really enjoyed the Balkan salad, it reminded me of vinegar based coleslaw somewhat. The person I went with got the beef goulash and said it was the best goulash they have ever had. I got the beef kabob and it was like an entire steak on a stick and great flavor. The honey cake is great too!
