I had to add a photo of the front of this restaurant/bakery. Working around the corner allows me to visit this hidden gem regularly. Every time I’ve eaten at Mercy’s the first bite always gives me the same reaction: “GOD! This is too damn good!!!” The food is so carefully prepared that every bite allows you to envision the love and passion the family has for their customers and their business. Currently the building is shared with a Subway, but there’s no reason for the subway. I understand the desire for variety but the owner of the complex has to realize how Mercy’s can provide that variety if they had access to the entire building. The atmosphere is definitely crowded and nowhere near big enough for the customer traffic flow that goes in and out of this restaurant, but I’ve never felt closer to a staff than I do here. I’ve barely spoken to the people who work here but the atmosphere makes me feel like I’ve been invited over to their home for a lunch made just for me. If you haven’t tried Mercy’s bakery yet and you live near Lansdale PA you are missing out in a big way. Go in, say hello, and enjoy some of the most authentic and delicious baked goods and Mexican food you will ever have. To the staff at Mercy’s, thank you for all of the incredible meals I’ve had and will continue to have!

Delicious! My husband had a torta and said it was fantastic – meat seasoned well and tasty salsa with it. The tamarind drink was clearly made in house and tasty. We both ordered pastries and all have been excellent

My wife and i were very excited to try this place since yesterday but when we arrive at 11 it was still close when on maps it says they open at 9 so that was already a negative to start. today we stop by around 2:00 and it was finally open but once we walked in you can tell they don’t clean often as they should. But we still wanted to give it a chance so i order 3 tacos and my wife was looking at the tamales and she realize that they had mold it look like they have been there for a while and at the pastries section it did not look sanitize at all but i had already order my tacos and felt bad to cancel my order or even say something. Once we got our tacos and took a bite the meat taste bad so we didn’t even bother to eat the rest. The place needs a good deep clean and keep track on what food is still good and throw away the spoiled food. The personal was nice, it has potential! But i won’t come back again sorry.

If I could give this place a 0 stars I would. Never open the hours they say on google. Doors are locked at all random times. When you do get inside its dirty. Your lucky if anyone answers the phone. Ordered a cake there once, verified TWICE when were going to pick it up, no one at the store, door locked, and no one answering the phone. What a joke. Plenty of other great places to spend your money and still get good cake and service.

The place is a little small for dining, but the variety of food they have is amazing. I have tried tamales, gorditas and it’s delicious. The variety of Tres Leches they have is awesome, never knew its available in so many flavours. The price for the food is reasonable and won’t break your pocket.

So at first my friend and I were so excited to have authentic street tacos, red beans and rice and empinadas. We each got 3 tacos for $10. I got the Carne Asada tacos and the steak was overcooked and hard and the taco was dry. The empinadas were also dried out and really awful tasting. But the chicken tacos and the red beans and rice tasted great! Unfortunately 2 days later we both ended up with food poisoning. I was outta work and in extreme abdominal pain for 3 whole days! Not saying this is the reason but its the ONLY thing she and I ate in common all week!

Me and my friends came here after a half day at school, I got the birria tacos. They were so good and the people who ran it were super nice!! I also got a tres leche cake and the pricing for it & everything else was super good. I fully recommend coming here!

Do you know the best thing about tortas? The bread. This bakery has all the Mexican favorites especially the tortas bread. Try the asada. It’s ridiculous! They also have tamales daily. Come on now! That is awesome! You can’t go wrong with this place. Just try it.

Went in to try a slice of tres leches cake. I had no idea tres leches came in so many flavors. And why wouldn’t it, right. We tried the mocha & plain. Both are delicious. Will definitely go back for more. The guy behind the counter must have thought I was crazy, but he was great.
