I was weary about this place because of the reviews, but thank god I went anyway. The atmosphere is so chic, The staff was friendly, and the food was devine. Such big portions at such a great price point! The drinks are some of the best I’ve had. We got the meat and cheese board to start, I got the short ribs, my fiance got the new york strip and I paired it with the sangria. Will absolutely be returning!

The vibe is upbeat and comfortable with a nice bar and seating area. Our waiter was prompt and friendly but after he took our order, thanked us for our patience which indicated to us, the food was going to be awhile. And it was. He came over a couple of times apologizing for the delay.

They have gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. Yes you read that right. There is more than one option for vegans yay! This is because they have vegan options for salad and an app or two. While also providing the option of vegan cheese so you can get creative in the pizza section. I loved the Truffled pizza with vegan cheese as seen in the pictures. On another occasion I’ve had a veggie pizza with vegan cheese and red sauce which was also very good. They had a couple good local IPA options. The server was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I’ve been to Mercato many times and have often had great meals there! On our most recent visit, we loved the Brussels and burrata, three little pigs pizza, and rigatoni alla vodka. My boyfriend has been really into salmon lately and said that this was one of the best salmon dishes he’s ever had! The portion sizes are perfect, and the vibe here is so nice. Great drink selection and friendly servers. One of my go-to restaurants near home!

We had a reservation to sit outside at 645 on a Saturday. When we arrived the dining room was about half full, the bar was full. The outside seating was very nice, service was attentive. Large menu with an additional special offerings sheet of both food and drinks. We enjoyed sangria to start followed by a salad with arugula and strawberries topped with walnuts and ricotta salata. The salad was underwhelming with the greens looking old, a white balsamic dressing that was weak, a dusting of walnut’s and a lack of flavor. Next we enjoyed sprint pea, lemon and pancetta pizza which was good. We then enjoyed halibut with beets and gremolata and rigatoni with meat sauce. Overall a very good time.

I am very impressed with the food and service. I had the fire roasted cauliflower for an appetizer that was delicious. For my main course I had the potato crusted halibut that was fantastic! They have an excellent wine selection as well.
