This restaurant is cozy, quaint and sunny. The owners are warm and eager to engage in conversation, and they are excellent chefs as well. The menu features Greek specialties that are all delicious. They pride themselves on their house made dressings and hand cut ingredients. It is a far way from their home in Athens but the atmosphere and food bridge that distance. Since there aren’t too many tables a lot of folks order take out. They are expert at making sure the food is packaged well. The wraps and salads are always excellent and the Halloumi is really special. Be sure to try the spicy feta dip too, it is a chef favorite!

I am from Greece, and I was looking for a good Greek gyro shop for an online friend that lives in the same town. I searched every Greek restaurant in the area, and this one is the only from that looks as if it was made by real Greeks, and not by some westoids. If you want to try real Greek food but don’t want to travel, go there!

The food here is fantastic. The portions are big. Every element of the food is so fresh and the flavor is spot on. I’ve ordered take out and each time as I sit and wait for my food they get me a glass of water. It’s such a small lovely gesture and shows great customer service.

This place has absolutely the BEST food in Eagle River! My husband and I had the Mediterranean Dips for an appetizer and oh man, stunning presentation! The dips were house made tzaitsiki – kalamata tapenade – a spicy feta yogurt (can’t remember the name) AMAZING! Served with perfectly toasted Pita. For dinner we shared the Mix Grill for two, which offered chicken skewers, lamb skewers, and pork laid over that perfectly toasted Pita. The grill was topped off with fire roasted tomatoes and Anaheim chilies. Perfect dinner.

I patroned this restaurant a few days ago with my wife. This is a new restaurant in Eagle River. Small cozy little restaurant. As soon as we came in we were greeted with great service. The service was great the entire we were there. Then the food came. Amazing!!! I ordered the big Hellenic grill plate. I was curious at $20 for the plate. I had a feeling that I would get small plate. I was proven wrong and astonished at what I received. This ended up being 2 meals. Some of the best and authentic Greek food, I have ever had. As a former chef, I can attest. The flavors, the lamb, chicken, pork, and the tzatziki sauce amazing in every bit that I had loaded on piece of fresh pita bread. I recommend this place highly and will a frequent patron!

Best Greek food I’ve had in years, worth the price! The place is rather small so I had to order out but they did not skimp on the to-go box sizes! Quick, friendly service, delicious food! Can’t go wrong.

Stop whatever worthless mundane thing your doing and get some food from meraki!!! If your sick of every gyro place in anchorage giving you 3 pieces of meet on a peta and charging 12$ then go out and get you a doner kabab from meraki! This is by far the BEST Greek food you can get in this state. I wish I could give it 10 stars! I know understand the phrase “broke da mouth”. Thank you guys for restoring my faith in anchorage dining. I would pay half again more for the quality and amount of food they gave…so worth it.

Stopped in for lunch today; had chicken platter. It was juicy and seasoned perfectly. My mouth is watering writing this. The tziiki sauce with some chicken, pinched between warm pita, matched with the best “fries” in Anchorage’ a hint of crunch but more on the side of perfectly cooked potato ; I ate it all. It’s good price and a big portion, definitely going back.
