Visited on Thursday evening with others. The buffet was just ok and the deserts were terrible. Never in my life had anything like that. That cobbler came from a cobbler all right. About like shoe leather. The kitchen could never get caught up and one of our group never got their food. That’s right, an order of loaded fries could not be produced in an hour. There are too many good places to choose from for one to stop in here. The bar seems to be the only reason people frequent here. I for one, will not be back. Too expensive for bad quality.

Place is horrible and so is the staff. I don’t see this place staying in business. Your best place to go is Blueslanding ,there i said it!! Blueslanding. Who makes a party with kids and a newborn baby sit outside in the storm for over a hour and then give us a table to tell us they are out of food and closing. Never again!! This incident took place 7/29/2023 on my Birthday and yet management has contacted me back.

I don’t know what has changed. Most of our party’s food was over cooked, almost burned, my husband’s catfish had raw places. My shrimp and grits were okay, but the grits tasted instant and were not cheesy, and the dish was Luke warm at best. The only thing really good was the waitress, which IS saying a lot. Do t think we’ll be going back.

Wow! I was so impressed with this restaurant! First time here I grabbed the Friday night special. It was so so delicious my food was grilled to perfection and the gumbo is definitely award winning! Thank you for an amazing experience I will most definitely be back!

Buffalo shrimp was just fair, bowl of gumbo appetizer was not a very good gumbo, market street bucket was not worth $35, one pod of crablegs which were the best part but 6 shrimp (boiled) and fried catfish was not very good at all, catfish had a spicy dark breading that overpowered the fish taste!!

So, we decided to try them out last night and boy was it a big mistake. First sign we should have left was when we walked in they said it would be a 30 minute wait, then another person said 10, and then we were immediately seated. Out waitress proptly showed up and asked if anyone was waiting on us then asked us what we would like to drink. I asked for a drink menu and she said there was none. Next I asked what kind of Margaritas they had and she told me that she had no idea, and didn’t even try to get me an answer, so we just had water and tea. Now we have our menus and they were 3 typed pages stapled together and my middle sheet was upside down. When we did get to order my son and I had fish and my wife wanted the chicken. Our waitress said, “Oh, I thought I told you that we don’t have chicken”. About 20 minutes passed and my son and I needed a refill and I literally had to flag our waitress down for more water and tea, even though she’d passed our table multiple times. Once we finally got our food (45 minutes after we’d ordered) the crab was overcooked, (was stuck in the legs and I wasn’t given any tool to crack the crab.) The catfish and shrimp was great. My son had the fish and chips and his fish was undercooked. My wife’s sausage plate was ok she said. When we got the bill we noticed that we were up charged full price for substitute items and I did not read nor was I told that I would be. The Mac and cheese that we paid 4$ extra for (per person) was really good, but it was a huge surprise. Lastly, I have NEVER been given a pencil to add tip and sign so I made sure to take a picture of what my tip and total was. It was out first and last time. You have been warned if you made it this far…. Drive to Paris and don’t waste your money here…

Sunday 1:00: Very limited menu because they said electricity might go off. I felt so sorry for the young lady waitress, she was trying her very best so this evaluation is in no way a reflexion on her! I got 2 appetizers as a meal. The mushrooms were way overcooked, thus were very, very dry and breading was thick and cooked on as hard as if glued. The 2 crab cakes were good but just at room temperature and I would have preferred them to be at least a little warm. Iced tea was very good. Service good, food left a lot to be desired. Probably won’t go back. There were only a few people eating there and in yrs past, the place has been packed. This has been a great place to eat so don’t understand what has happened.
