MENYA MUSASHI was founded by Takeshi Yamada in 1996.
Similar to the world-renowned sword master Musashi Miyamoto who proclaimed I practice many arts and abilities – all things with no teacher , founder Mr. Yamada self-taught himself the art of making Ramen and established this Ramen restaurant.
In respect of Musashi Miyamoto who created the unique two-sword style on his own, Mr. Yamada named his Ramen restaurant MENYA MUSASHI.
MENYA MUSASHI currently has 14 restaurants in Japan, with overseas locations in Singapore, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Ukraine. In July, 2018, the first North America location was opened in Los Angeles, CA. In November, 2018, the second location was opened in Seattle, WA

I came here from Florida to visit family in Seattle and this is the first place I thought of when they asked me where I wanted to eat. This is my favorite Tsukemen place – the noodles are chewy and thick, the egg was flavorful and cool, and the Tsukemen has such a nice flavor. I wish they gave us more. (It’s actually enough, I take some of it home). I get the original Tsukemen (but the black garlic is my favorite). We also got takoyaki and it was delicious and so was the vegan ramen.

A friend brought me here and we had high hopes. Unfortunately, the ramen was not well executed. The broth was not quite hot. The middle of the soft boiled egg was cold when it should have been room temperature. They brought the appetizer 15 minutes after the main course came out.

Amazing tsukemen! The hybrid is well worth getting and the noodles are cooked perfectly. The dipping sauce is perfectly salty and unami. If you’re craving noodles, this is the place to be.

Our friends took us here for dinner because it was popular and delicious. But I didn’t really enjoy the Ramen. There was less broth and more noodle. within few minutes the noodle absorbed the broth and there wasn’t any broth to taste. The noodles wasn’t spicy or flavorful. The noodles did not have many toppings compared to other restaurant.

Hands down the best Vegan Ramen I have had in USA. I’ve been to many ramen restaurants and I can confidently say that nothing beats their vegan spicy curry broth.

Glad we came here – they have many vegan options to chose from. My spicy ramen was yummy and the broth was perfect.

Got the mentaiko and original takoyaki for the table (never had any other flavor of takoyaki so this was fun!!) and the vegan black ramen for myself. Really delicious!! I do wish i got something a little more spicy but this was definitely tasty. Friends got the regular tsukemen and original ramen and liked it too! The thicker noodles in the tsukemen looked so chewy.

Unique ramen that sets itself apart from other ramen places. Seating was prompt, no wait. Water was quick although it did not include ice (was still somewhat cold). Order taking was quick, the waiter answered questions as needed. Wait time for food was average.
